I dunno.  I don't like the idea of it being concrete that geth and EDI died.

Like I said maaaaaany pages back, I still think that little starchild was lying his spacey buttocks off about the death of all synthetic life, In my head, only the Reapers died and EDI and the Geth and everyone else survived....SC was just trying to stop you from wiping out the Reapers, little jerk.. shouldve sent him to the naughty corner

From the way it reads or my interp... if it is true... they "listened" and didn't give a crap. There's nothing about change in there, just  'clarification'. Which to me means they're leaving it as is and just adding more...I guess to show when/where Joker runs and the actual distruction of all synthetic life if you choose destroy, etc. I so hope I'm completely wrong.

i want to maintain my faith that Bioware will fix this, but I dont know... however.. one thing that makes me feel slightly better is that its not out till your summer, which is June, so there could actually be some additional playable content... gah... now im back to being depressed about the endings again... *scurries off to read more fanfics*

Yeah it appears they are taking the fans are to dumb to understand approach.  I'll be over in the corner sobbing uncontrolably before going back and starting to work on the book I've decided to attempt writing.

Exactly my thoughts. I'll wait and see what they do, but in the meantime, I'm not spending any money on them, either. And if they mess this up, they won't be getting money in the future. There's no point in retaking Omega so that Aria can die sitting in Afterlife. What's the point? She's going to be in the asari afterlife one way or the other according to the ending with or without any DLC.

the only way that I could possibly bother with any of this is if they show Shepard getting rescued and reunited with her crew/LI.. that might possibly make these endings slightly easier to bare... otherwise.. Im out for good.. I wont be getting DA3 or any other Bioware product again after this... But, I'll wait and see I guess... /cry

I really think Bioware heard us, and they don't care. They keep saying that those of us unhappy with the ending are a small majority. We're not, and we know we're not, they don't want to admit otherwise. If this DLC doesn't show at least some Kaidan and Shepard reunion, this will be me:

I'm actually a little afraid they will kill my ability to headcanon away the crappy ending.  I mean, right now I can live with it, if I pretend Shepard gets knocked out by Harbinger and everything else never happened.  If they go out of their way to prove all that other crap was real....   I'll go cry in a corner.

I dont want the endings changed per se.. just want them to make some sort of sense.. I mean, what happens after Shepard takes a breath, does she get reunited with her crew/LI... Y CAN SHE NO HAS HER HAPPY ENDING!!

also.. wth happens with all the fleets etc... zomg.. by making an 'extended cut' ending.. they are so freaking lazy.. seriously.. it would want to be some pretty epic extended cuttage.. cause fans will rage hard.. and we are certainly not the minority lol

I keep thinking how the rest of the game was SO awesome, just that last half hour left us feeling empty... so out of character to the rest of the game, there has to be something they can do to explain what the heck it was on about because it made no sense as it stood. That said, IF you consider indoctrination theory then there's vague hope - it DOES make sense but only really if you were a dedicated fan from 1 through to 3 and understood ALL the back story (who Saren was, for example) because if you haven't researched all this stuff you just wouldn't get it and even after playing for hundreds of hours it took most of us time to sit and think it through and come up with a consensus that this may be the only logical explanation.

So yeah, explanation - if it makes sense it may improve things... could it be worse? I guess it could make things worse if they confirm whether people live or die and not just leave us hoping that the whole last section was just a dream and leave us to make our own endings... I'm destroying those Reapers with all my Sheps, it's the right thing to do in my head no question about it... but whether this is good news or not - I'm conflicted!

I really hope they don't go with the lame indoctrination theory, it's just too much of a cop out. But, given the endings I'm sure the indoctrination theory is what we'll get. I don't want an extended version of the same damn ending, I want what we were promised - lot's of different endings. Regardless of what they come up with my head canon says Shepard and Kaidan have their sunshine and bunnies ending, lol.

I don't know how to feel about that...I take this as they'll try to explain the plot holes, but the endings will still pretty much be crappy?

If they're just going to explain the holes and add epilogue text to give some closure I feel it's a little bit late for that. A story without enormous plot holes is something that should be in the first release of the game, not something that should be supplied later on.

I'm glad BW have decided to do SOMETHING and that they are taking some time to do it rather than just rushing out a patch, but if they'll just be clarifying things I'm not certain how much it will actually improve the ending. I'm fine with them not using the indoctrination theory and I'm fine with them adding to the endings rather than changing them entirely, but I'm having a hard time seeing how they'll be able to turn the current ending to something satisfying.

I'll just wait and see, I guess. But yeah...I don't see the point of buying or playing other DLCs, or investing in the ME-series in any other manner, if the endings still suck after this one.
