oh great now its getting worse

I have a sinking feeling they'll be negating the indoctrination theory... i mean it's wasn't my fav but it at least made some sense and you could cope with it.. but it looks like they're even taking that away...

like i said before, i hope i'm totally wrong, but after the last several months i've come to only expect the worse from bioware after all the lies and deception  (pun intented.)

 I guess it's a kind of compraimse? keep both the fans "happy" and have there highly preteious "artistic" endding...

I kinda want to say F**K THAT!:devil:  but at the same time... we don't know exatlly what the DLC will have...

Yep... Bioware offically doesn't give a flying rat's arse about it's fans... just it's "artistic integrity" , well fu2 Bioware.

It might lighten the mood some.

And yeah, I guess we really will see if BioWare can polish a turd. Someone should send them the links to the MythBusters epi where they proceeded to prove that it can be done. It would be a cruel joke but sadly relevant.

Well, I'll stick to this forum for the fanfics to brain-bleach the bad away, but other than that, unless DA3 comes with a RL Alistair that comes free with the game, I think I'm passing on it unless I hear from folks here that it's amazing. No more midnight Gamestop runs.

whilst I hate the endings in their current form... they can easily fix this by showing a breathing shepard getting rescued and then rescuing her squad and LI later.... all without changing how these ones play out.. at least for the 'good' ending anyways,...

so we still have a crappy ending? I assume it we'll be able to ask the star child some more questions, and I'm guessing they'll keep the Normandy scene even though it makes Zero sense and add more scenes onto that... OR they could give us what we want and Kaidan hauling Shepard's ass out of the rubble on earth after destroying the reapers. Something has to be added to that. You don't end a trilogy with that you think is the main character, your character, breathing in some rubble. That's like if they ended Lord of the rings with Frodo destroying the ring but only showing something breathing at the end not knowing anything else...

The END of Shepard's story doesn't mean she's dead.  It means she's retired from the galaxy saving business.  And frankly, even if they come out and tell us that she is... Avery Shepard faked her death so she could live quietly with Kaidan Alenko and rebuild Mindoir.

We don't know what this new DLC will contain for sure, but the general vibe seems to be "it's our game, we'll end it our way"... though is there any hope in Casey's statement: 

Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series added, “We have reprioritized our post-launch development efforts to provide the fans who want more closure with even more context and clarity to the ending of the game, in a way that will feel more personalized for each player.”

Well, I guess we'll see... but if they say more personalized it could be anything from as simple as a piece of text on the screen with your Shep's first name on it to something about the surviving characters / races.

I'm mixed on this, because yes for the love of god give me some closure and yay it's free DLC but the ending was so speculative that I can see the DLC making things a lot better or a lot worse, i.e. you can see Shepard take one last deep breath and then die and you see Joker swooping in and picking up your crew before abandoning you.

 I just can't wait to see how they try to explain all the plot holes. I can't wait to see them scramble to make some sense of why JOKER - who swore up and down he'd never leave Shep again - would be flying away from battle. Why Kaidan and Garrus - both of whom went with me on my only playthrough of Earth - abandoned me on the field of battle. Why Shepard is taking a breath on Earth when she was just on the asploding Citadel in Earth's orbit. How exactly a beam of light can /rewrite the DNA of every living organism - plant or animal - in the galaxy/.

Yeah. Like I said: The @MassEffect 3 Extended Cut = nuts for our food-dyed vanilla cone. Probably pecans. Blech. #masseffect3deservesbetter

Welp, there goes any desire I had to ever play any of the Mass Effect games again, much less finish ME3.

So much fighting to get... extension of what has already been presented. Well, extension and clarification. I don't think they'll include there anything past the scene showing Shepard breathing under rubble but I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with an additional, yet paid, DLC with action past that point.

lol it could end up being epic dlc.. that gives us our happy endings or our hero endings, everyone feels like theyve been kicked in the quad cause of the bad endings.. but considering 95 percent of the game was brilliant.. it might all be okay... thats the only way im gonna stay sane whilst i wait heheh
