That is 100 thousand times better than that deus ex machina garbage that BW foisted upon us. For reals.

EDIT: This post in the spoiler group made me feel a bit better about what we might get...
Now Ms. Merizan's twitter is buzzing. She says that no one will starve to death, reuniting with crew is possible, relays can be rebuilt and that indoc theory may have some value. All of these depends on choices.

This. I'm going for the Garrus approach; expect the worst, and I'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the endings being expanded. A good deal of grief can be extracted from the current ones because they do so little to end anything but the major overal arc of all three games.
Hope for the best, prepared for the worst.
That's kind of what I'm trying to do too. Since I expected them to do absolutely nothing regarding the ending, this announcement is something of a pleasant surprise for me. Hoping for the good stuff.

Same here...if I can see my Shepard reunite with Kaidan and her crew...I can forgive and overlook everything else
Aslanasadi and I agreed a long time ago that we didn't even care particularly if we defeated the Reapers as long as we got to keep Kaidan. Selfish, I know. But for us, the story became much more a lovestory between Kaidan and Shepard. Defeating the Reapers became seconday along the way.
Is it ideal? No. But I can live with/forgive a lot if my Kimbri can live a long happy life with Kaidan. It was the primary reason I was upset with the ending initially. If that had been an ending I don't think I would have even thought further about the plot holes and lack of choices. I would have been happy.

Me too, I've been thinking about this with the same attitude, seems to be the best way to deal with something you're not sure of. I'm still hoping to see certain things

Yeah. I seriously didn't expect ANYTHING to be done except lip service. It still has to be proven, however. I mean, how many promises and false hopes were handed to us before ME3? A LOT. So take all of this with a grain of salt.SilverMoonDragon wrote...

I still won't buy ANY DLC or new games from ME or DA until I see this with my own eyes. If I get Kaidan or at least an ending that makes sense, I'll consider buying their products again. If not, BW (minus TOR because it is delivering on promises for me), can go frak themselves.

Unfortunately, this gives me little hope. Jessica's tweets are coming from a community manager, not a writer/producer. It is her job to make people happy by telling them what they want to hear. I doubt she is sitting in on the meeting with the writing team.
I agree so very much here. Jessica has sent alot of cryptic stuff through twitter over the last month. I have alot of respect for her job right now, and she does it very well. The fact that she does do it well is exactly why everyone sees hope in her tweets. She basically takes a huge camo tarp, puts it over a bush and calls it a tree, but she does it with a smile instead of the tone of entitled and whiney that flow out of Biowares official statements.

It's one thing to stretch the truth. They told us things were in the game after the game went gold that were not there.
"At this point we’re taking into account so manydecisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.”
This is a blatant LIE. No amount of screaming artistic integrity can erase that.

*laughs* So they hold on tightly to their "artistic integrity." They just don't give a sh** about any other kind of integrity.yoshibb wrote...
Yeah I think that's one of the biggest issues. They didn't just give us a bad ending, they blatantly lied to us. So now I'm supposed to trust them to make better games in the future. I guess I should just think the opposite of everything PR says.

"When the first intragalactic travel corridors were finally restored, Shepard personally led the team that discovered Normandy survivors crash-landed on a garden world. A lucky holovid still captured Shepard and Kaidan Alenko at the moment of their reunion, locked in a passionate embrace. A moment of hope and passion, stolen from the wreckage of so much that had been lost.
It instantly became one of the defining images of the Reaper Wars."

Strawberry, your first question should be, "Can you please explain your artistic vision of the ending?"
If they want to claim art, they should be able to explain what's happening and what they are trying to portray.
