I actually liked Garrus in ME1 but he just annoyed the hell out of me in ME2. Liara and Tali always annoyed the hell out of me, lol. I did actually manage a few ME2 playthroughs where Garrus and Tali didn't survive the SM, but I can't get rid of the damn asari, lol.
I guess I'm ticked off because to me the game makes out that Shepard is closer to those 3 than to her LI, Kaidan. There was just way too much autodialogue and missed conversation opportunities with Kaidan. We had to go an entire game without him, then we get him back only to lose him for a large portion of the game.

Agreed! I would also add Liara to the list, I am tired of her already.IsaacShep wrote...
Garrus doesn't need anymore missions, timescreen or attention in this franchise. He's been pampered like no one else, had 2 personal missions and was in the squad in all 3 games and from the very early points in all 3 games at that

Blue babies, blue babies...she got a whole dlc dedicated to herself!
And add Tali, because she got tons of screen moment too.
What the heck, Bioware? Only the VS did not get a lot attention (Ashley/Kaidan) compared to anyone else. This is not fair!!

As an unabashed Garrusmancer, I agree. Give the other LIs some screen time!

agreed - I adore Garrus, but he's had plenty of screen time - more Kaidan required... also still awaiting news on the figures they were planning on bringing out - there's not a lot of space left on my desk, but I could make way for FemShep and Kaidan desk ornaments...

I dont midn the amount of screen time liara and garrus had, i just wisht theyd evened it out a little, a couple more kaidan/james/ash/me2 crew scenes and i wouldnt have even noticed how much screen time liara and garrus got. I do mind that even renegade convo options with crew/squaddies in me3 came out as friendly regardless, i want a chance to be a total git occasionally!

I think the LI should have had priority over picking Shep up too. I remember somewhere in the Rannoch arc Shep falls and Tali yells and helps you up. Kaidan just stood there and didn't do anything. I know it's easier to just use Tali because she has to be there, but it would have been really nice for LI to step in in those situations if they're on the squad. And truthfully, who the heck leaves their LI if they don't have to?

Busy weekend for everybody? So apparently Jessica Merizan posted the possibility of Shep reuniting with crew. Is it still there or has the idea been thrown out of the airlock? Geez I hope not.. There's too much space magic involved already... and nobody wants speculations!
Hope this extended cut will not make things worse... Is there any word whether the differrent options will mean more than just RGB change? I hope they explain what happen to the galaxy when you choose control, destroy or synthesis.
Just saw a few pages back that you can take Kaidan to the Tuchanka bomb mission. I thought it expires after curing the genophage or is it under 3 missions timer? So rescue Victus>cure genophage>citadel coup? Seems like a whole lot of Virmire reference dialogue? I've never had Kaidan for fear I can't made it in time.
And oh Happy Easter Kaidanites
EDIT: I hate hate hate typing on the iPhone, there's no option to edit post too...

I tried that, but apparently if you don't do the bomb mission before the Citadel coup, then the bomb goes off and kills Eve. So you have to do all three Tuchanka missions before going to get Kaidan.

She did mention that it was possible, but she also mentioned sacrifices, too. That makes me nervous since I saw that there was a scene they cut where your squad does get vaporized by Harby's beam. I saw it on YouTube. If they choose to put that back in, we should all be prepared with playthroughs where we leave Kaidan behand in favor of our least favorite squaddies. On the downside, it means fighting my way through that last mightmare bit in London with super-squishy Liara and someone else ... not sure who, maybe Javik..

Its a 3 mission timer, ive done it several times now, i always go save turian squad/cure geno/citadel coup then straight onto disarm the bomb mission. Kaidan likes shouting at the beginning of that mission!

I adore Garus, but I mostly find Tail as a naive little sister to my Shepard. Mostly, I agree that they did get to much screen time in ME3 looking back at it than most of the others squad members>.<. Hell, Laira even got more screen time and awkward moments in the game than the humans did. I don't like the fact that they force Laira to find your body in ME2 let alone the awkwardness of the conversion if you didn't even romance her in fthe irst place in ME1. Thought can't you leave her behind in ME1 in the ruines untill she goes compeltly crazy from no contact to the outside world? After that why in the hell would she even bother finding you in the first place?
Garusmancer and Kaidanmancer, here but I agree that everyone deserves screen time not just the aliens of the crew. In other words, I play for the Humans and Alieans dammit.
