Nope, I did see it the first time, just forgot about it. Paragon Shep is pretty derpy in that convo, specially when she says that the Illusive Man was good at the beginning and that she never saw it coming. I probably went 'LALALA' in my head and refused to remember it (my Shep has the Akuse background).

I wish Kaidan would have shaken her a bit. something like 'well I wasnt there to help you make the right calls, see what happened'  [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/angel.png[/smilie]


Edit: I still feel like they didnt do enough with Kaidan's potential for leadership, I wish he had been handled with as much care as Garrus. Stupid expectations, I  know

I know, all these videos are really inspiring me, too! I have half of the footage recorded, and I've got a list of songs I want to use, but in order to get all the scenes I need to actually go and beat the game...  Every time I turn on my laptop, I feel like Sony Vegas is glaring at me for not using it. The Shenko videos are calling!

As for capture devices, I use this one personally. It isn't the most user friendly, and to edit the footage you need a good lot of memory and and higher end PC/Laptop. But if you don't care about the HD aspect (I'm a little OCD about quality at times) you could try the Pinnacle Dazzle, which is only $20. I tried that blasted piece of plastic and couldn't get the framerate to go above 10 FPS, though, so I would not recommend it. I have no experience with other capture devices.

I want that Kaidan pic in my cabin too, I found it really odd that it wasn't there.  I understand that the alliance were refitting normandy and it wasn't done, and that Shep was effectively in the brig (incidentally I wouldn't mind at all if Vega was the one guarding me while I was in the brig, yum).  Surely when she took over the Normandy again she would have at least managed a pic of Kaidan in her quarters, least she could do.  Or he could give her a pic as a gift, like Tali does for her Shep.

I guess I just want more Kaidan

I am just about done on this playthrough for ME3, I'm currently on the final push to the beam, and I just had to say goodbye to Kaidan again   I honestly think that's the best goodbye of any of the LI 'goodbyes' I've seen (haven't seen the Liara romance goodbye yet, it's the only one I won't 'Tube as I still might do a playthrough with a Liara romance right through, even though I don't like her.  Damn me being a completionist lol).

Now, if we're just comparing armors on visual appeal alone, I really like the blue armor best, but when start dressing Kaidan in them ... I prefer the black armor/engineer armor (?). But then, I'm the one who goes to the Chippendales and pays to get lap danced by the Handyman guy every time. I like my men rugged and the black armor makes Kaidan look a wee bit more rugged than the blue. The blue armor is good for a sleek, polished look, IMO.

Heh, nope. I always have Kaidan and James partly because I can have them wear the same armor. I love the black one with the pants that are more pants than armor. I love those pants.

I don't know why but seeing kaidan in those sweet armor blues reminds me of my one shep that romanced liara. Why do you get to see her side boob or butt and not once we never see kaidan's butt? Just to be fair with same conversation time and such for everyone.

No weirder than me putting Liara in the "armor of shame" - her black/pink armor that I like to call her "Barbie" getup. I'm not very fond of Liara. If we do get treated to a return of the beam scene, she's definitely earned a spot on my last push through London squad.

But then, I've been bitter ever since they made me choose between Ash and Kaidan on Virmire at the very outset.

My personal favorite for Kaidan is the Collector's Edition armor, I love the steel grey and blue color combination. The boost to weapon damage doesn't really add much, though.

Armor of Shame  That's what I use on Liara, actually, because I like the head pieces and color combo.

...What? Girls are allowed to mix and match clothing for the most effective color combinations!

It's the closest I could get to putting back in the old pink/white armor from ME1 which I always used to occasionally sneak on my characters just to laugh at them (the original Barbie Armor). Hence, "Armor of Shame" although I do agree that it doesn't look half bad. I do like the cutaway coat look they gave it and the blue/white option.

I put Garrus in the camo outfit because I think snipers need to wear camo. Although I'm not sure how arctic camo is going to help him be a better sniper in most of the places we're going.

And my Infiltrator is in a base black thing with dark blue and red stripes. Yeah, that really blends in ...

Thank you for the suggestion!! I just might get that one, but apparently this is PC only? I only got a MacBookPro w/ FinalCut to edit with.

*edit: I've been looking at a brand called blackmagic because it's the only one I could find that supports mac, but the hardware requirements are insane... I'd need a solid state drive to even keep up with the data capture. Oh well, time to upgrade my machine?! lol.

Capturing xbox video is all new to me, I'm used to just cameras, lol. I wanna capture in 1080p but I heard there's this thing called "HDCP encryption" that makes it impossible so I'd have to capture in "component." I'll figure it out as I go along lol!

 I dress my squad in gear that I like the looks of tbh:D  I admit that I did not even know they came with armour bonuses until I read it someplace on the forum - doh!  My sqad is all about looking good - who cares about improved shields or barriers.

Same with mine. I think it had to do with those really deep smile lines.

There ARE ways to capture in 1080p, but the cheapest I've discovered runs about $500 for all the equipment needed - And that's not including the fact that you have to have a desktop with custom built specifications! It was a bit TOO complicated for me, I can settle for 1080i (360) and 720p (PS3) and save the extra money and hassle.
The HDMI cord is where the issues come in to play, because of the encryption you mentioned. I've heard of Blackmagic, but back when I researched all of this (late 2010), they only had capture cards (which need to be built in and installed physically in to your computer) and not capture devices. I have no idea what to do with a Mac, all my Apple knowledge extends to is how to use my iPhone  Good luck, though!


And my Shep looked older than ME1, but younger than ME2, IMO. Although she looks like some sort of duck/walrus hybrid in ME2. The smile lines bothered me in some scenes when they were really emphasized, but that's what Photoshop's content aware, clone stamp, and patch tools are for

I think the only thing I'm sad about in regards to how FemShep looks is that you can't add facial scars. I miss my scars from ME1. I love the one that bisected her eyebrow and was on her upper lip. I can understand why they weren't there in ME2, since Shep got rebuilt, but I felt like it would have been awesome to have them back in ME3.

Yeah, the smile line that I really remember is the one in the romance scene with Kaidan. I'm just like, "oh god she aged like five years." Haha
