yea.. resurgence DLC is up on xboxlive now... husband ninja'd xbox though and I have all of ME2 to get thru to check out face fix lol... <_<

dstrawberrygirl commented a few pages back about the face import bug fix so I assume someones already checked it out etc...

Not sure what the go is with the maps etc.. like we've d/l the dlc but as of yet havent seen any new maps.. It makes no sense that they would be unlockable cause then you are boned for matches if some in group have map etc.. so slightly confused about why we cant see maps yet.. but meh.. I'm sure something will be explained lol

Yeah, with my game in its broken state I can't do MP or resume any of my saves (because the DLC can't be verified), the only thing I can do is create a new game. So I tried hitting the New Game button, selected to import my canon Shep from ME2. Previously there was no face data available, since I never even clicked the Custom Appearance button in ME2, she was a pure ME1 import. So when I selected her save, she did indeed appear on screen! She looked close - it generates the nearest possible facecode for you. The eyebrows were the wrong color, and her mouth was too high up, but I guess it's the best we're gonna get.

And then I closed the game out, hit head against desk again, hammered EA support again with more notes, and got back to work You wouldn't believe how productive I was last night, but every line of code I wrote was finished with a ; that contained actual venom.

does anyone have theme songs? not just shenko, but for their shep? i ask cause i found a song that i think suits my Renagon perfectly, and...well i got currious to see if other people have theme songs for their shep

I actually messaged Cptdata suggesting an idea for Kaidan's loyalty/romance mission where they track down and rescue his father instead. I thought it would make for more poignant scenes since it's his father who he hasn't always seen eye to eye with, it would be sweet to hear him tell Kaidan how proud of him he is. Also it's a good excuse for Shepard to meet Kaidan's dad, I suggested that if Shepard is in a relationship or rekindled one with Kaidan then his father acknowledges/congratulates them both and makes a joke about how he's done nothing but talk about/pine after Shepard for years, which would of course lead to an embarrased "shhh dad, shut up!" kind of reaction. Just out of curiosity, is there any chance that your online pass code has somehow moved folders? im assuming on PC that the codes etc.. all get put into a certain spot etc... also have you used any mods to change anything about your game, cause apparently they have been causing issues for some pc users...

You strike me as an incredibly intelligent woman so I'm sure youve already checked these things out, but figured i'd ask you anyways

Much better than finding Rahna which he first suggested... I wouldn't mind learning more about BaAT and early human Biotics in general. Too bad the only other BAaT student that is known is poor Hendel, would've been cool to meet him in-game too. Kahlee Sanders is made from the CC, Hendel shouldn't be that hard to do.

During my first playthrough, I mistook the Biotic Company as Kaidan's students instead of Jack's, they should've at least name it 2nd Company or something

There is so much backstory about Kaidan that is never got explored in the game. I kinda forgot about his dad, Kaidan mentioned him like twice in ME3? Once in ME? And then he has a cousin in agriculture business or something? Also, I think my questions got kinda forgotten, I hope somebody knows the answer. The entry about Kaidan in the wiki said that he got exposed to eezo when his mother had a transport accident in Singapore or something. I wondered where's that info from cos' I've never heard from it in-game.

Um, I'm just a lurker on this thread, but I made up a new ending in my head. Now I'm writing fanfic to that end so if the DLC turns out better than what I made up, I can just say 'yay! they ended it so well!' and if it sucks, then i can say 'yay! now i can use my headcanon because i came up with something i like better.'

^ that's sort a pathetic way to get over how badly this game tore me up inside, but it's a way to get over it. 

Hehe, this is what I did.  And railed at friends.  But I won't get into that here.  I don't want to be banned.

Kaidan mentions that his mum was exposed during a chat, and there is a codex entry about the leak over Sinapore in both ME1/2.. i was good this time and read the entries, its under biotics

@madilly thanks - yeah I've not modded anything, it's a server problem for definite, just have to get the news to the right people so they can kick the box or fix my database record or similar. To do that you must fight through waves of EA husks. I wish I had a biotic throw...

On the subject of extra missions for Kaidan - I'd love to see some of his biotic students in some sort of mission, perhaps have him come to you with requests to go rescue them, and get you to take the ship to various corners of the galaxy map to find them all. He's a Spectre - he should technically have his own ship, but with the war on he has to share with Shep.

Would love to see a reunion with his family too, but getting back to Earth before the end is likely not going to happen. After the end, however, recovering at the Alenko house would be a lovely little scene - again, likely only in fanfics.

I ignored it.  I've seen/heard/read enough bad art works (some of them my own) to live with it fairly quickly.  What's coming up is always more interesting that what's past and done with.

oh that sucks.. I'm scared to contact EA, I live in Australia and with differing timezones I cant even comprehend how hard it would be to get something resolved... one good thing about xbox i guess, no having to deal with that stuff....

you know.. I'd love to see someone draw a Kaidan/Femshep pic of the two of them cuddling on his balcony overlooking that bay he mentions.. would be so uber... hrmm wonder if anyone has done that...

Nah. As long as you didn't get Tali exiled, solved Tali vs. Legion dispute in ME2 by using the paragon/renegade option, saved Admiral Koris, did Legion's mission in ME3 (tapping into the geth servers), and have high enough Rep points... then you're fine.

 Does this matter if you rewrote the geth heretics instead of killing them in ME2? I'd love to let my Shepard have that weak moment without accidentally killing the quarians because of it.

If you rewrote the geth, then you'll face more geth during the Rannoch arc and more quarians will die. If you broker peace, then you will have more geth assets than quarian.

Its definitely not Aeia. That's way too far away from the Sol system. Joker was in the middle of FTL drives, not jumping to relay-to-relay. Relay-to-relay is instanteous.

Since bioware hasn't gotten back to me yet and I'm entirely too impatient to wait for them, and you guys are my people, does the import patch come with the dlc or is it all by itself? Because if it comes with the dlc, my Shepard is still not importing. which would make me very sad.

After ME1, I had some nice head canon where Shep and Kaidan do get that shore leave and he takes her home to meet his parents. It was always interesting for my canon, the street child, to meet and interact with a fully functional family.
