Yes, you can in M1. I don't really know what you are talking about. After each mission ( Therum, feros, noveria ). Except the romance lines, maleshep can know everything about him. Sarah, his past, biotics, this is the same content as for femshep.

MShep can't talk to Kaidan right after leaving the Medbay after the Prothean visions. If you did as a maleShep, that's first I've eaver heard of it. It was one of the bigger complaints for most Male Shep players.

I think it would be a good idea to have a "thank you letter/statement" from Kaidan fanbase to his ME3 writer Cathleen Rootsaert for how well she took over Kaidan combined with a request for Kaidan mission in one of the future DLCs. We could accent that he's one of the very few characters without the loyalty mission and give some of our ideas to consider. No demands or forcing anything, just fans picking up on stuff already mentioned in the ME games and little bits Cathleen Rootsaert already implemented in ME3 - like the search for his students and missing father.
In any case, this is the time to do it since they're setting things up for future DLC. Later it will be too late.

Something I thought was lacking in the From Ashes dlc if you took Kaidan with you to Eden Prime (and your Shepard is female) he never says anything about the fact that essentially he was the one that caused your Shepard to have to take charge of this whole "defeat the Reapers" thing, since he was the one who accidentally activated the prothean device, which Shepard dragged him away from, thus Shepard ending up witnessing the weird flashbacks.
It would have been nice to see him have a proper little heart-to-heart with her about the past, maybe a little romantic speech about how he fell for her then and there or something... I guess thats something for the fanfics though.

Must be because the Shep that took Kaidan to Eden Prime was the one I made in Genesis - that or the fact that they hadn't romanced, but I got nothing from him on the way there on my second playthrough. I messed up on my first one and did that one too early while he was still in the hospital - soon as I can play again I'll be able to test it out with him on the squad with a shep who romanced him in 1.

Don't all biotics get Barrier in ME1? If you want it in ME2, you need to pick up Jacob's loyalty power. Can you get it at all in ME3?

On the other hand though, I'm not sure if she would have time to read it all lol so I dunno, maybe just have one person who writes well put together a letter that gathers fan thought (the most common/popular ones)?
