Raphael's just so smart & insightful! And I love how much he cares about these characters and how much he gives himself in them even if he doesn't even play the games he stars in. No wonder his characters are so amazing, he really brings life to them with just his voice!

Heh, my thought was "Not yet anyway..." 

The anecdote about the call to the fan's friend was awesome, pure and simple.  Oh to have been a fly on the friend's wall when he picked up his messages.

There’s something about the duty meets their heartstrings.

I think as actors, you draw from your own experiences – he had been through a lot. Various wars, was strong but wounded, as it were, by his experiences. But, as they say, “our experiences give us wisdom,” or “consciousness comes at a price.” It seems that Kaidan had been down a lot of roads by the time he gets into the story. And he’s seen a lot of things, which gives him both the far-off look in his eye, but at the same time there’s some part where you feel like he’s a bit more substantial, because he’s been through it. Some of that’s in the writing, some of that’s in the playing.

I like these two quotes of Raphael in particular.

What I can say is that Kaidan was not in Mass Effect 2 a lot. But he’s in Mass Effect 3 – I’m told – a great deal more.

Although I don't see the resemblance. Granted part of my mind may be blocking it out. I don't wanna see Casey Hudson everytime I look at Kaidan. It's like ..."kissing your brother". Something just feels wrong about it.

As far as Kaidan's curls....puts me over the moon....I bet he has unruly curls, that would explain the generous application of hair gel..lol. Trying to tame them! oooo...I wonder what he would look like...you know..fresh out the shower; hair has dried a bit and curls are rioting across his head..

Raphael - I like that he’s not a cliché. I like that he’s not just the badass. I like that it’s not all about screaming. Some games are … you feel like your voice is hammered after you’ve done them. I’m always tired – really tired when I’m done with a four-hour session. But I’m also so happy when I don’t have to be screaming. So I like that he’s not a screamer.

I need to bookmark this.  I'm so psyched that he put that into words so eloquently.
