I know what you mean about a fleshed out world, that link you sent me to the "Valkyrie" story, I can't thank you enough, it was wonderful and that idea of Kaidan is almost how I'd imagined him myself.  I can't wait for it to be finished up, and fill in the plot holes at the ending of 3. 

I really should do a full playthrough again and I probably will as I haven't done any with a Liara romance, but I just can't bring myself to romance a character I just don't care for in the slightest.  It sucks that she's about the only character you don't get an option to kill off at all right through all 3 games, you can even kill Kaidan/Ash in 3, not that I ever would, who in their right mind would kill Kaidan right when you're about to get him back?

For now though, I'm going to try and rekindle my love for Ezio Auditore da Firenze, although I hate how they've made him look in AC: Revelations.  Ah well I'll just imagine the handsome Ezio they gave me in AC2.

I thought about how they could have presented an OPPTION to kill Liara. 
 say it was her hanging on for dear life on thesia. you are given the choice, you can ether save Liara, [ paragon ] OR chase Kai Leng to get the data.[ renagade] 

i kinda like the idea. ether save a firend/lover at the expense of the Data or Get the data but you lose your firend/lover...

I liked Liara as a girlfriend (not romanced).
Shep needed somebody to confine in and just be friendly with - nobody else was really there for that.

I figure he was sitting there, either tongue tied by the camera or thinking.... "Aren't reporters supposed to be smart?"

As far as the dress goes... I don't mind the necklace.... what I hated was the pleather and that zipper and the odd back panel.  Oh, and the red racing stripes.  WTF?

Avery wandered around pre-Thessia in the hoodie.  But she's taken refuge in the BDUs now, even if she is freezing, to remind herself what she's fighting for.

in the leaked script, they had it where you, your  VS/LI and liara were protecting the prothean (in a trance trying to get data) from Kai Leng and he ends up detonating a bomb (and taking proty) leaving shep near paralysed and crawling to save either VS/LI or liara.... I would have chosen kaidan 99% of the time ( maybe blue once since i have a shep for her.)

Thessia is the obvious place to kill off Liara if you're ever going to get the option to do it.  I hate that they push Liara on you through all 3 games, she's the only ME1 character to get her own DLC in 2, I know I'm not the only one who felt short-changed at that.  Ash/Kaidan DLC for 2 would have been only fair, I mean why wimpy Liara over your LI from 1?  A cameo on Horizon where you don't get the option to do anything much at all with them really doesn't cut it.

I'll be waiting on SageQueen updates on that story eagerly now, in the meantime I'm sure I can find more to fuel my Shenko obsession while I wait.   That NSFW story posted by Acid Queen was awesome too.  Nice little 'interlude' for Shenko

I figured in Kaidan's interview with Allers, he wouldn't be tongue tied at all, I think he's gone through way too much by 3 to be put off by a tart in a dress asking questions, he'd be more closed off,  like not wanting to give away any classified info, and quite wary of reporters in general, plus Allers isn't that smart really...

Thanks heaps dstrawberry! Hopefully I'll be able to write too while recouping from surgery on fri. And i hope you're origin woes get sorted soon.

I think it's still to come, IIRC.  If you're talking to Kaidan every chance you get, you won't miss it.  He's in the crew room where Chakwas goes while Eve and Mordin have taken over the med bay.  It's quite a sweet little scene

Thanks for telling me where to get that clip, on my next playthrough I'll look a little harder lol
