Yeah, I agree that wanting to kill someone for not agree with you is kind of stupid. I guess these type of people will not be good with politics down the rode. I see most video games characters and Anime characters as real people since I don't yell at Sakura Haruno for hitting Naruto on the head, when he does something stupid( Naruto anime/manga). I tend to play hit my friends, when they act stupid in front of me and some people don't understand that this is a trope used to pertain strong female characters in a story line. I also don't blame Kaidan for complaining about a headache because I complain about them a lot too. I also don't think Ashley is racist per say she just doesn't trust Aliens to stay allies. In my own opinion, she's correct in questioning their loyalties to other races, since we do that a lot with our Allies. (FOR example, Israel ectt). We shouldn't blindly except that they'll stay allies with us just because they joined up with the Alliance in the end. She just doesn't blindly follow someone just because they say their her friend. I hate how they made the Aliens, where they would just follow you anywhere in light of you working with Cerberus (Anti Alien group). Good god man, at least show some distrust towards my Shepard for working for a terrorist group that hates your guts and would turn your species in too a Reaper larva in heartbeat.

Oh so THAT's what that book was that they gave them... I had been wondering.

Sounds like this is a nice way to pass on those thoughts to Cathleen. That previous book only had three letters about Kaidan

 Now  i am caught up:

1] Shep breaking down: 
cannonly,  I’m haveing my renagon
shep break down between ME2 andME3. I furgre, the poor woman has been on the go
since torfan and never had a chance to feel much of anything in ways of gulit
and remorse. So, during those 6 months, she breaks down and realises she needs
to make amends for everything she has done.

I also wrote a breakdown after Thessia Fan Fic...with my
loyal Kaidan Shep.

 

2] Ash on Virmire. I always try and have a soild reason for
my shep to leave Ashley behind. And i try and make it In chacter too. Yeah, i
hate it when people talk crap about the VS. It makes me angery. Evan when i
know it’s a joke. I still get kinda upset. Evan though i’m not a 100% Ash fan.
She has grown on me...bioware does a great job with making you feel something
for the chacters. Like with Jade Empire, witch started my love for
Bioware.  I hated it when Zu scarificed himself...
i can’t really watch that part... and with DA:O I grew attached with to the
charcters quite quickly..but the less said about that the better

Had I sent Ashley with the Salarians, she would have lived and Kaidan died. Darn good thing I made the right choice on whom to send where.

I had the same kind of feelings as you guys except with different reasoning. By this I mean that I always brought Kaidan to the bomb because I felt that his tech skills would be needed to set up this bootleg nuke and Ashley wouldn't let her wariness of aliens interfere with her duty. I went back for Kaidan because I felt like the geth could disarm the nuke faster than Shep did in that one sidequest where you had to disarm a bomb in under 10 seconds. I felt completing the mission to stop Saren from having a krogan army was more important than saving the other team, which is a very renegade thought for my mostly paragon Shep now that I think about it.

Still I feel glad that I left Kaidan at the bomb because I feel that if I had left Ashley there then she would have lived and Kaidan died.

I guess this shows what a morally grey choice Bioware managed to inflict upon us.

Aili and Kelly came out pretty good with the new import. Zair got facial reconstruction work from me, and Jade kept the Gibbed version I worked out prior to release which is better than what the import came up with.

Aili did have to cut her hair off because otherwise she would have had a strange hair bump thanks to the ugly buns of ME3.

I'm not comfortable with the way Kaidan is written in places. At your first femShep conversation w/ him in 1, if you listen to his talk about friends at Jump Zero, then all three options at the end of the conversation lead him on to think you're interested. So when I don't want him as LI in that playthru, I end up with "sorry, misread communications". Then in 2, I took his response on Horizon to be a break-up. So, I turned to Thane. But then in 3, Kaidan says "I understand your cheating". I most certainly did NOT believe I had cheated. I wanted a chance after that to say "you know what Kaidan, let's just be friends"

Dude... Kaidan just went badass on me... just got done with sanctuary and he's like "can you feel the quickening.... the illusive man, murderous ****...the tide is turning" ...hoping i can get a lot done in the next couple of hours...luckily i don't have to be at the hospital til noonish...

I like that bit from him, partially because it's so dark and scary.  The otherwise unflappable Kaidan has something get under his skin, and we see what sometimes goes on in the head of someone who's so controlled, and who is "one of the quiet ones".

It's working perfectly for me! I'm so happy it's working.

I was surprised I got a face code for my ME1 Shep, considering you don't get one when importing into 2.

Does anyone have a picture of what the ME1 default FemShep face looks like in ME3? I'm curious, now that the import patch works.

I'm glad that the face patch is working! I'm not in a position to play ME3 right now (is that good thing or a bad thing?) so I can't judge for it myself. Also curious to see how the previous default FemShep looks although I think you can see features of her in the current existing presets in the game.

Or if you do, shut him down in the Jump Zero conversation before he tells you about BaAT.  That seems to permanently shut down the romance for all three games.  No "mixed messages" in ME1, no Horizon awkwardness, no "cheating" conversation in ME3.  I don't think you can even romance him in ME3 if you shut down the romance early enough in ME1; I certainly never got the option.
