Hehe, well I'm a bit of an old musical fogey, so Jimi is top of the pops for me.

But BMC's version is an extremely close second.

I miss you Kaidan. I've been told it'll be 1-2 weeks before my case is even looked at now it's been escalated. Until then, my friend, I shall see you in ME1, and I shall fill my hard drive with more photos. And yes, I have a flycam toggle now, so I'm going to snap all sorts of amusing shots before you and Shep go to Ilos. What's that you say? Horizon? yeah, I don't blame you. It was a difficult situation, but it's ok, we'll get over it when we get to Mars. And you'll be a Spectre, and you'll save the Council - you'll prove yourself more than worthy of the Spectre title. 

Gah, I'm going crazy, I'm talking to a video game character! I just really miss the game - after all the mess with the endings, I'd resolved that internally, got over the stages of grief, accepted it, and was happily on my 3rd playthrough. And now this insane situation where I can't play and it's not my fault. Not gonna vent in here, not the correct place You guys help keep me (in)sane!

K so i'm feeling a bit angsty and extremely po'd at the craptacular customer support EA/Bioware offers.... yet another store glitch that took 240 points and they still haven't fixed the first one back in goliath weekend. All they said was wait and wait and wait some more and then when i asked for a refund Kamal said "okay", then went to said they don't do refunds and to wait some more...just give my me $5 back or the spectre and premium spectre packs you gorram morons...

Sorry for the rant, I'm just so tired of them stealing our time and money and we get jack for help when we need it because their product has so many problems

we'll i'm off... hopefully Kaidan dreams to come lol... and thanks again for the well wishes... hope to be back playing MP with you all

See? It's stuff like this from you and strawberry that are why EA won worst company of the year. Everyone says, "Oh, well, EA doesn't destroy anyone's life like BofA ..." but I say that having dealt with both companies on a customer service level, EA is right up there on par in terms of craptasticness. They completely deserve that golden poo (or in this case the tri-colored poo). In terms of business practices, EA is just as bad as any of the others.

Why did they ever have to buy out BioWare and get their evil fingers on my favorite game developer? At least Kaidan almost got out unscathed.

I hear ya! it's so frustrating because the writers, developers and artists put so much work and effort into this product, and you expect there'll be bugs in any freshly-released software, but the fact that the bugs cost you points (that you spent money on) and that some of these bugs can stop people playing the game at all completely sucks. And it's made even worse by the fact that they can't help fix it. I've had so many failed purchases for upgrade packs on MP, I dread to think how many points I've lost. Probably over 200k xp.

Need Kaidan to give these muppets a biotic kick where it counts.

Although I must say, I'm on of the luckier EA "customers" (or wallet on legs, whichever you prefer). By some amazing chance I managed to get someone who's actually Swedish and is a good person and was very helpful when I messed up my pre-order code for DA. He's probably gone by now
BF? Not so lucky. They made him jump through hoops to prove that he bought Crysis, when his activation code turned out to be invalid.

Did you get the error where it couldn't verify your purchase? I get that all the time spending credits - but if you close the game and restart it, you get the items (you just have to hunt them down). It's really frustrating, and it happens almost every time I use the store between 7pm EST and 12am EST. Half the time I can't tell what I got because it's a customization for a character I don't play or a weapon upgrade for a weapon I don't use.

New chapter is up!  If It Meant Living-51: Worth Fighting For / Alt. DA Link. 

I don't think I've ever written anything this emotional before (okay, maybe Ch.31-From the Ruin).  In "real life" I'm not exactly known for being an emotional person (::listens to her husband burst out laughing across the room:, so it was difficult - but worth it .

I know a lot of people here are also Thane fans, so I am happy to report a bonus early appearance by Thane!  Hope you enjoy .

Great video, but I definitely have to say I prefer Hendrix.  Had to go find his version after watching.

The goddess had to keep his unborn shell and soul until the Reapers invaded earth. However, the god's mortal body was the combination between god and goddess so the child was, well, the shell is female but the soul is male. (To be honest, I just prefers to write girl thing )

At first, no one was sure about her. But she helped her parents to be together and she was the real catalysis. In the end, she had to leave her mortal shell and reunion with the goddess to defeat the devil who was behind all Reapers. In another word; she died to save people she love, without fear or regret.

Well, my question is: Should I write it or forget it?

I like the idea of reincarnation, but I couldn't really see any clear use of Buddhist mythology in the ME universe. I thought mostly I saw a lot of Judeo-Christian influences in creating the universe. But I can see where you are trying to write from, and it sounds like this fic will be huge. Maybe a little too huge. Just my opinion though. And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Ragnarok from Norse mythology not Buddhist? The goddess part is making me scratch my head, but I think you are going for a spiritual feel toward the rewrite of the ending.

To my knowledge, the issue has been acknowledged by one dev on the forums, but it hasn't been patched in so far. It's a bug where somehow for some reason the engineering dialogues were linked with the flag "is Shepard friendly with Ashley?" Meaning, is Ashley in your party? It's weird. But I played one save with Ashley in my party (even though that meant no Kaidan ... ;A;) the decision to hook up Ken and Gabby was pretty rewarding in itself. Let them finally be a couple. <3 So no there is no patch to fix that bug. Sad, I know, but it is what it is I suppose. 

I have two saves where I sacrificed Kaidan (but Kaidan lives in majority of my playthroughs), and I like Ashley's character, too. I always have a hard time making that choice on Virmire, and I end up mulling over the decision for good 10 minutes with my dialogue wheel going in circles. I love them both!

Yeah I can see that. If you actually read mythology from various cultures, you can actually see the essence and message its trying to convey are similar if not the same. Just different names. What I like about the use of reincarnation with Shenko is that it further reinforces that Kaidan and Shepard are soulmates. That no matter where or what time they may be, they belong together. <3 I'm such a sappy romantic. The idea is interesting, but my opinion is that the goddess part might be ... a bit way off the timeline of ME. I just don't see it linking well with the present timeline of trilogy. Maybe you can prove me wrong. But I like the reinforcing idea of Kaidan and Shepard (especially Shepard) that there's no one else and it's true love after all.

It's felt like ages since I've been on here. Had some medical issues, not quite sorted but nearly there. Been feeling really poo.

Read about the extended cut, they are going to have to add alot to make me a happy bunny, I tried starting a 2nd playhrough of ME3 but as soon as I got Kaidan back after the Genophage I just turned it off, also my xbox gold has expired so need to save up for it again. *sigh*

Cant even get inspired for fanfic either.

Just hope this slumps end after I'm not ill anymore. Then I'm going to romance the hell out of Kaidan again.

Okay, so I've been bored and working in Photoshop all morning. Decided to mess around and make a wallpaper of Kaidan and Shepard from the observation room scene.
In the process of smoothing things out, I noticed there was an unfavorable looking star cluster in one corner, and it really started to bug me. So I highlighted it, and went to add a content aware fill. In theory, content aware would look at the surroundings and remove what you highlighted, replacing it with whatever was in the background (like in this picture where I removed the Salarian waiter, it replaced him with the stuff that would have been behind him).
So, I right clicked, then went to content aware fill, and what did Photoshop decide would be fitting? To replace the stars and stamp an image of Kaidan's ass five times in the sky, outlined by a blue glow  Even Adobe recognizes the beauty that is Alenko's behind.
