I just watched Ashley's goodbye scene and it is nothing near Kaidan's. Or Garrus', for that matter. In the Kaidan one, I actually cried and they sounded like they were about to cry. Ashley's one...it was just eh.

Raphael Sbarge and Jennifer Hale did such a good job with that scene.  It really did sound like they were crying.

I thought Ash's was pretty good. Ash and Shep sound so much more hopeful than Kaidan's goodbye. I like Kaidan's better myself but I think it has a lot to do with who you've connected with more.

Garrus and Kaidan really stole the show for the goodbyes. Liara's left me feeling a bit creeped out and suspicious, Wrex's made me miss the 'good ol' days', and Vega's made me guilty that I hadn't talked to him as much as I should have. I skipped Tali's (not a huge fan of her) and the ME2 crew (didn't know you could talk to them). At that point, I was feeling insanely depressed with the idea that it was the last mission I'd ever have with my friends, and I was chomping at the bit to beat the game at the same time.

I must say, I have a very strong urge to Photoshop things today. *scurries off*

Okay, so I've been bored and working in Photoshop all morning. Decided to mess around and make a wallpaper of Kaidan and Shepard from the observation room scene.
In the process of smoothing things out, I noticed there was an unfavorable looking star cluster in one corner, and it really started to bug me. So I highlighted it, and went to add a content aware fill. In theory, content aware would look at the surroundings and remove what you highlighted, replacing it with whatever was in the background (like in this picture where I removed the Salarian waiter, it replaced him with the stuff that would have been behind him).
So, I right clicked, then went to content aware fill, and what did Photoshop decide would be fitting? To replace the stars and stamp an image of Kaidan's ass five times in the sky, outlined by a blue glow  Even Adobe recognizes the beauty that is Alenko's behind.

Liara may have written Shepard's name in the stars but this is what everyone will be looking atPosted Image

Plus the fact male Shepard and Ashley sounds meh in it. Yeah, the reason they made Kaidan's less than hopeful was the fact he was so torn up inside probably thought would add drama. Pulse  Ms. Hale and Sabage are just better voice actors in doing  the emotional stuff in my own opinion. Male voice actor for Shepard sucks he's like the male version of Jessica Chobat.Plus, the fact your just friends with Ashley also may have something to do with it.

Yay Photoshop!  His ass is divine!  It was placed among the stars by the gods themselves, so all may gaze upon its splendor.

I teared up a lot in ME3, particularly my fail run where several people died.  My lower lip was wibbly after Kaidan and then I went to Garrus.  I sobbed.  I know some people didn't really bond with him but they way they wrote him him this game is exactly how I head-canon him.  I was exactly how I'd have written it.

Tali was dead on that run and Wrex wouldn't talk to me because the bomb killed Eve and somehow I missed Liara.  After all I've read I don't know if I ever want to do hers.  I find her creepy enough and I'd rather not be suprised with any blue babies should I manage to live.

It probaly will be Laira thought since Kaidan has a Asari Festish. Oh and Bioware just does it just to ****** people off I mean look, what they did with the Jacob romance... :innocent:So if your Shepard dies then Laira gets Kaidan in the end. :(

LOL, he does have an Asari fetish.  Although, I think Kaidan and Liara would start dating but not progress very far.  Way I see it, Liara brings him home to dad Aethyta, and well there goes Liara.  Kaidan likes adventurous women, Aethyta likes asses.  Pretty good match.

I'm gonna swim against the current and say that Liara is waaaaay too good for Kaidan. She keeps a cool head in any situation and doesn't rag about Cerberus at every frickin' turn. She actually bothered digging up your frozen corpse on Alchera nnd if it weren't for the creepy baby sister vibe my Paragons get with her, it'd be blue babies ever after. My one Renegade is a creep, so no problem there.

I'll take unshakable loyalty over a fine ass any day. The latter is a distraction anyway.

So date Garrus :P

Liara's expanded role in the series is partially due to her skills and personality, and partially due to her being the writers' waifu.  I try not to consider the the more Mary-Sue-ish elements of her writing, whether they're positive or negative for her.

And I'm going to swim back and say that digging up Shep's frozen corpse and giving it to a terrorist group which Shep was fighting against before to be brought back to life is tooo creepy for my taste... let my Shep rest in peace, please.<_<

I don't usually do this, but someone made a decent survey about the
endings (what people specifically had problems with).  I should only
take a few minutes (well, depending on how hard you think about your
answers) so I thought I'd pass it on.

Please. Liara keeps a cool head? Every time I turn around she was panicking about something, or whining about something, or being deadpan about something. Granted, part of my issue with her is the fact that her VA sucks - half of her lines are delivered with no inflection, and the other half are seriously mistimed.

But Kaidan had depth - yeah, I could have been happier if he'd been less suspicious, but you know what? Shepard spent two years dead and another half a year working for terrorists. I really don't blame him for being suspicious. And he does get over it eventually. And DESPITE his questioning, he's still there for you. Liara doesn't come off as loyal to me - she comes off as a stalker.

I'd say it's unfair to dislike a character, just because she gets more screen time. Blame the writers for shafting us Thanemancers and those who bothered with Jacob. Actually the latter is a unfair, his romance was okay once you got past Hale's creepy voice in their convos.

Of course I can understand if her personality rubs people the wrong way. Everyone can't like everyone. I personally can't stand Anderson, with the whole forced friend/mentor crap, even more so after Traynor's comment on him intending to turn the Normandy into his own personal cruiser. But people seem to like him, despite kleptomania and a general lack of spine and sense.

This is also what happens when you let a character writer take over. Among other horrible things. So I blame Walters, Hudson and to an extent Karpyshyn for abandoning ship and not seeing things through.

Also, she's no more Mary-Sue-ish than Shep, or in the negative spin, TIM, whol almost always get their way. Except the ending, where everyone is boned, except maybe Joker and his sexbot.

Garrus butt is unfortunately not in the same league. He also lacks biotic sex capabilities. My Shep's are focused, not nuns.

While I wouldn't say Meers sucks I will admit doing the Male Shep/Kaidan romance there are a few moments were I was actually annoyed during the romance when I would be drawn in by Sabage's brilliant line delivery and then suddenly Shepard gives a completely wooden response and it really ruined the moment, not trying to have a go at Meers though overall he still did a good job

Dead Shepard = Happy Starchild. No!

Did it turn out to be a good thing she did it?  Yes.  Was that why she did it?  No.

I don't dislike Liara because she gets more screen time.  I dislike her because she goes from "I will flay you alive with my mind"  to "oh, Shepard, you know me, I'm just so sweet and terrible with people because I'm a reclusive archeology geek" :innocent: in about a third of a second flat.  And then I'm forced to be nice to her despite every conversation we've had through two games in which I've shut her down, hard.

And yet she still tried to ninjamance me then hunted down my dead body and gave it to terrorists in the frankly bizarre hope that they really could bring me back to live.  That it turned out well (until starchild, at least) has nothing to do with her motivations.

Kaidan, on the other hand, not only behaves reasonably but also has powerful biotics.

Garrus isn't loyal.  My paragon Shep spent all of ME1 trying to teach him the right way to do things.  He honoured her memory when she died by turning his back on everything she told him and going back to his old ways because god forbid he has to actually follow rules.  I disliked Liara from the first moment I met  her in ME1, so it has nothing to do with screen time.  I found it amusing in LotSB when you ask her about Feron that she says it would be wrong to take advantage of him after what he went through.

Kaidan may have walked away from Shepard on Horizon but it was totally in character for him to stick to his morals and principles.  I don't blame him for being suspicious after Shep came back from the dead and was working with Cerberus, but he has your back when it really counts in ME3.

I Renegaded him ^_^  And whatever his attitude in ME2 or ME3, he follows you into hell three times without so much as a peep of protest.  I'd say that counts as loyalty.

As for Liara, I do try to ignore the favoritism the writers show toward her.  It's not her fault.  But that cuts both ways; just as her ninjamance and extra screen time aren't her doing, neither is the extra plot importance places on the her character and actions.  Does that make any sense?

K so i'm feeling a bit angsty and extremely po'd at the craptacular customer support EA/Bioware offers.... yet another store glitch that took 240 points and they still haven't fixed the first one back in goliath weekend. All they said was wait and wait and wait some more and then when i asked for a refund Kamal said "okay", then went to said they don't do refunds and to wait some more...just give my me $5 back or the spectre and premium spectre packs you gorram morons...

Sorry for the rant, I'm just so tired of them stealing our time and money and we get jack for help when we need it because their product has so many problems

we'll i'm off... hopefully Kaidan dreams to come lol... and thanks again for the well wishes... hope to be back playing MP with you all ;)

Did you get the error where it couldn't verify your purchase? I get that all the time spending credits - but if you close the game and restart it, you get the items (you just have to hunt them down). It's really frustrating, and it happens almost every time I use the store between 7pm EST and 12am EST. Half the time I can't tell what I got because it's a customization for a character I don't play or a weapon upgrade for a weapon I don't use.

No i don't think...pretty sure is just says and error occured and to contact customer support. And i've checked to see if the 'cards' slipped by and there's nothing.
