OMG  I know. Kaidan's built, but he's always so controlled you never realize just how strong he is - until something like that happens. It's just sheer *awwwwww*!

So, climbing the walls wasn't helping me, I ended up stealing hubby's N7 box earlier (which he _STILL_ hadn't installed) and got it all set up for him. And I tested that it would import a character... And I made sure he had collected his MP starter pack. So yeah, I may just pretend to be him for a few weeks until someone fixes my account - it'll be like starting over again, but I just. need. to. shoot. something. I think this is probably like an addiction thing, but I don't admit I have a problem, it's EA servers that have the problem

I figure hubby won't mind if I do my mshep playthrough on his account - after all, even with a male shep, there's still a Kaidan

What I like about the use of reincarnation with Shenko is that it further reinforces that Kaidan and Shepard are soulmates. Well, the god is just a boy who want to see his parents happy, and he would do anything to make sure they could be together this time. And his friend is going to help. 
In fect, they were gods only because people calls them. Their true self were something else entirely. 

About the timeline, it's call the cycle, so how could you know the begining and the end. Thing dies for new thing to born. That's why the god of death an the goddess of live are the one. 

True be told, I felt a bit insulted when someone say I don't understand the philosophy in ME.

I agree that I too feel insulted, when they say they don't understand philosophy in the Me universe. After a while, of going to read up on Buddhism again I find a lot of things similar to Reincarnation IN the reapers cycle. I'm one of those that find it possible that people do find a new life somewhere down the rode. The cycle of the Reapers is a endless one that is timeless so in other words just like Reincarnation. I don't see that much influence of Judea Christan Beliefs in ME. I see many different version of Buddhism, Shinto, and other eastern religious beliefs. Like for example, the samurai codes I could see in Samara's Justicer codes. However, I still just felt the ending was a bit off even for Buddhism and the lore surrounding it. Yes, we can understand, I'm from the west and was raised Christan lol. :D:D:) However, I'm now agotisc-Athiest. B)

Eh, I dont' see much of Buddhism and Shintoism and the like to the idea of the Reapers' imposed cycle because their cycle isn't a natural one IMO. I thought Buddhism and Shintoism were about things coming about in their natural time not being arbitrarily and unnaturally imposed.

When you first get to the Citadel.  Down in the wards by the Med Clinic/Flux.  It's amazing. I missed it my first two playthroughs though.

I only ever got to see it once. After that first time, my game would crash every time I tried to trigger this convo. At least I got to trigger it that one golden time.

lol yay! i'm so happy for you... and i totally get the need to shoot something.... apparently i shouldn't let my mom on my computer unsupervised... something happened to were there's a potentially fatal hard drive error and i just got the new bloody thing a week ago... it makes it worse when i can go upstairs to look at it with my own eyes

and the are some semi healthy addictions....hehe....good venting sessions etc...

The look on the poor mans face makes me melt... and giggle hehe.
It's my fav scene too

MP is scary heh. Im only lvl 8 and everyone else is like... 200 levels above me... I always feel bad and leave before it starts. Yes, Ima chicken *bwak*
If only I oculd get my score high enough w/o it :/

Don't be scared of multi! It's really fun. You'll run into rude people, but you'll also run into fun people. Stick to bronze and just give it a shot. If you're given a hard time just leave and find another group. You can't get better unless you try.

 I just watched Ashley's goodbye scene and it is nothing near Kaidan's. Or Garrus', for that matter. In the Kaidan one, I actually cried and they sounded like they were about to cry. Ashley's one...it was just eh. I guess I'm glad I saved Kaidan...not that I could ever not save him

Just wanted to say that I agree with Lady of Rivendell. Kaidan did steal the show in a couple of scenes, but I found Kaidan's moments to be concentrated. I had seen Garrus' romance videos and I made the mistake of judging romances by the same scenes. When I imported my Garrus romance and began playing, I experienced more squee moments with Garrus than I did with Kaidan (and Kaidan's my favorite, FYI). It started from the first time Shepard saw Garrus and it was just this simple gesture of using both hands to hold Shepard's in his (everyone else got a regular handshake). It was the little extra lines like asking her how she's doing and then telling her to hang in there because everyone needed her ... he needed her. There's this hand on the shoulder during the scenes where he's being a best friend to everyone else, but he's also the supportive boyfriend constantly reaffirming his feelings for her. All these little things really added up to a very strong big picture for Garrus. So even though his romance scene might come across as weak for comparison purposes, he really does deliver in the long haul, wow. Kaidan is great for built up sexual tension, but you really gotta wait for your moments with him.

I can't comment on Liara's romance as I don't have a character that romanced her, but her final goodbye is one of my favorites because the glow is based on our morality. I loved the red/blue planet ending in ME1, was vaguely displeased with ME2 planet color being tied in with the base, and was thrilled to see that I could fly my renegade colors once more with Liara's farewell. She "gets" me! =D

I've finished ME3 with both Ashley and Kaidan as the VS. A friendship Ashley can't really be compared to a romanced Kaidan, but I thought Ashley did very well from one strong chick to another. She called FemShep a hero-lady in her goodbye and when Shepard previously met up with her on the Citadel, Ashley talked about her dad and how he would have really liked Shepard because she was a badass military woman. To quote Kaidan, she's a "good egg." =p

  I, too, also adore the ME1 Locker scene. I was half expecting Joker to intervene in the ME3 romance scene - Very glad he didn't, it was probably best for his health in either case. I've heard that space is a vacuum, and I can't imagine how well brittle bones would last as they floated away aimlessly.

I don't really see much FemShep/Ash friendship videos on YouTube. I'm really curious to see how her friendship date plays out.

Also, while playing ME1, I talked to Ashley after completing the Noveria mission. Ashley brought up Armistice Day, and asked Shep something along the lines of "is that was a problem, sir?". I picked one option and my Shep said "When I want something "from the head," I talk to Kaidan. When I want something "from the heart," I talk to you."

I can't jump between saves. I have this weird tendency to finish them in chronological order. But I want to see Ashley's hangover scene with FemShep!!! Because the one with ManShep was awesome and funny.

You know, I was thinking today (which, in itself, is quite unexpected), trying to place just what bothered me so much about ME2's characters when it finally hit me. The reason I find myself so emotionally unattached to them is because none of them really WANT to be your friend.

In ME1, Kaidan was friendly from the start, and he was the first in the relationship to show interest or initiate anything. Ashley was warm and inviting the second you met her, Tali was eager to talk to someone and make a friend, Liara was almost too happy to be your friend, Garrus had no problem opening up and letting you in. The only one who came across as distant was Wrex, and that was nothing personal, just who he was.

Then, you get to ME2. Miranda straight up tells you that she doesn't want to play nice. Jacob purposely remains distant, Tali's very cautious around you at first (and rightfully so, IMO), Jack wants you to hate her, Samara keeps it professional, Zaeed is only there for his paycheck, Kasumi is pretty aloof, Grunt acts like he's a teenager and you're his mom who won't stop pestering him. Only Garrus and Thane show any real warmth without you having to really push them to be nice (Legion doesn't technically have emotions in ME2). And when it comes to romances (at least for FemShep), you pretty much have to pry Jacob's teeth out to get a romance from him, and Garrus gives you no indication that he's interested unless you prompt the romance. Only Thane is the one to initiate a romance.

I hated that feeling in ME2. I didn't want to MAKE my crew love me, I just wanted some friends... I love that Kaidan initiates the romance in ME1, I hate it when I have to be the one to do so. That way, it gives me the feel that the character actually wanted the romance from the beginning, instead of you having to urge them into the thought.

Hahaha. It was so awkward to initiate Thane's romance when after they talk about Irika, Shepard talks about being together.

I loved the Normandy crew, ME1 to ME3. To me, there was a sense of real respect growing for ME2's crew. But I thought the professional atmosphere was appropriate given how the SR-2 v.1 was a Cerberus vessel and not an Alliance because Shepard is technically a first-time Cerberus operative in ME2.

Got up to lvl 17 and got one of the special spectre packs... and got nothing good ha.

I initiated thanes romance once but felt guilty because of kaidan lol Except for Garus he was really the only other character I really liked... wel and tali but she's like a little sister to my Sheps... dunno why she seems like a child. So does Liara for that matter.

(and you can add me to the group that said "Ummmmm" at the goodbye with Liara. My first thought WAS errr blue babies anyone?

Even though Kaidan wasn't my favorite LI then (notice that's past tense! he's my second favorite now! XD), that scene always managed to make me turn super red. XD

Ye gods, just turned on the Xbox, and the memory stick I use to save completed games has failed. Lost my original Shep and all my Assassin's Creed saves, among others. Think I'm going to have to take that drink off Kaidan!
