Not sure if this has been posted already, but I've come across this interview with Kaidan's voice actor and thought it was nice.

^ Yes, it's been posted and we've been talking about it. But thank you for posting it! I've been reading on the interview and gushing about in excitement!

My highlights in the interview:

- Kaidan is not a screamer except in bed
- Kaidan will be in Mass Effect 3. "But he’s in Mass Effect 3 – I’m told – a great deal more"
- Sbarge has become even more awesome.
- Sbarge's encounter with his fan(s)! It's endearing how he actually made an effort to call his other fan  and the fact that said fan "who’s crazy about" Sbarge is named Shepard makes it even awesome. 

So yeah. Looking forward to it and excited even more for Kaidan.

Also, *snort* Kaidan in that getup.

i always thought kaiden was based off of Casey Hudson because i never knew what he looked like till i saw the videos talking about ME2 and i was like O.o "is that kaiden!?" lol

Oooh.  I'll have to read that interview. 
And I like the Kaidan/Varric art.  LOL.  I wouldn't have minded Varric as an LI option in DA2.  I'm not much of one for dwarves, but I really liked his character.
