Just putting the reminder there that any Kaidan fanart people want to contribute to it they'd like it resized to 8.5X11 and that it feature Shepard and Kaidan together.
As far as letters to bioware regarding how much the Kaidan romance rocked your socks, at maximum they'd like it at one page. Doesn't meen you need to fill a page if you don't want to.
Here's my letter I submitted yesterday:
Dear Bioware,
I just wanted to say I really adored the Kaidan Alenko romance throughout the Mass Effect trilogy and I hope this helps show why I liked it as much as I do.
My canon play through was with Aerilys Shepard. She grew up as a Spacer and proved herself as a war hero earning the Star of Terra. I think her lifestyle didn’t really allow her to get close to anyone. I think at most she kept people at arm’s length, using her commander persona as a barrier between herself and others.
Then comes along Kaidan Alenko and layer by layer they each deconstructed the protective barriers around their hearts. I think what really attracted Aerilys Shepard to Kaidan was the way he tried to help her through his own life experiences, hoping she would consider different perspectives if she hadn’t already. She also found his caution toward her, regarding romance, endearing for she felt the same way… although she pats herself on the back for having the courage to help prod him along.
She is the passion and fire contained within the cool and collected masked persona being Commander Shepard. He is the cool soothing waters where her form is allowed to rest and recuperate, the shoulder where her head may rest when there isn’t any other place she can turn to. Out on the field they worked well together, working off each other skills to get through battles. He’d either pull his targets, later relying on cryoblast, and she’d snipe those he tagged. Each battle they worked and maneuvered like a well oiled machine.
Anyways… what I really liked about the Kaidan and Shepard relationship was that it had real growth. They started out with simple camaraderie and it grew to something more. Then tragedy strikes and forces the pair to separate. He’s hurt because he thinks she’s betrayed the alliance and didn’t give a wink about their love after all and she’s hurt because he feels that way and isn’t able to see things through her perspective. And later on they start to tiptoe back, walking over eggshells regarding what happened. Then he lays it out there, asking her if she still feels the same.
What I love about Kaidan in Mass Effect 3 is that despite whether the relationship is re-established you see how much he still truly cares about her. As he says, he always wants her in his life. He truly wears his heart on his sleeve this time around. You can feel his trepidation as the final battle prepares. You can hear the uncertainty in his voice, the heartbreak, as Shepard and Kaidan say their final goodbyes.
If there is one thing I hope in the end of this trilogy, other than the reapers finally being stopped, is that Kaidan and Shepard finally get their deserved “ever after.” With that said, bravo BioWare. You guys did an excellent job on the Kaidan romance.
Much love,

Anyways, I know I've been posting about it the last few times but I just like the idea of showing support for my favorite biotic space husbando.

Thanks guys!
Might be doodling something up for you guys too ;D
