I made a twitter account to stalk various VAs (including Anders's DA2 voice actor -- I recommend following him, he's all kinds of depraved and hilarious), and now I can add Mr. Sbarge to that collection.

Very no. That character is so creepy. That clip always weirds me out just a little bit. Yes I hope Kaidan loves Shepard and wants to be with her but keeping her head is FF7 Sephiroth crazy.

Lol. I didn't mean exactly keeping just her head, but given the events of ME2.... I just wish that Kaidan and saved us instead of Liara. Of course then it would involve OOCness as Kaidan would never work with Cerberus let alone give up the body of his lady love/best friend over to them to be experimented upon. Still the sentiment would be there of "Never give up!" Albeit with less creepiness than the Nip/Tuck clip.
Edit: Of course I've never seen Nip/Tuck before so maybe that's why he seems less creepy to me, all I hear is Kaidan.
Edit the Second: This is unrelated to Kaidan but still interesting: multiplayer has been confirmed for ME3.

I like to think that Kaidan kind of shut down and buried himself in his work after Shepard's death. Or at least was very practical and thought there was no way to find a body lost in space.
About your second edit, I'm calling BS until Bioware says yes or no. There are no linking saying where they got the information and its not a offical site either. We might not want to talk about this too much. The mods like to lock any thread that talks about that.

I'm sorry, but I can't ignore the part where the character Sbarge plays killed his sister and wanted to keep her head only in favour for the "I love you."
Red, I agree with you. I think Kaidan tried to to be as detached and practical as possible given the situation he found himself in.

Personally, I might recommend Carth's "I love you" bit instead. Doesn't contain the same "creepy as hell obsessive murderer" factor.

Woah wait a second. He was the one that killed his sister in the first place?
I still stand by what I said about the whole Liara/Kaidan thing though.
Edit: And Carth's I love you is definitely MUCH better. Anyways I'll just leave this here.

Okay, to address this seriously instead of with comedic gifs:
I'm really, really glad Kaidan didn't do what Liara did, because it's creepy as hell. Liara just happened to be lucky enough for it to be the one time in fiction where it actually worked, so she generally gets a pass. Usually this kind of behavior is the #1 indicator that a character has lost their marbles to a dangerous extreme (see: Pet Semetary, Dragon Age 2, Fable 2, Shadow of the Colossus, etc.). It isn't sweet or heroic; it's usually futile, insane, and has terrible consequences. Though Shepard is in no position to complain because, well, it worked this one time.
This is also why some of Jacob's dialogue in the beginning makes me roll my eyes, saying things like "The Alliance gave up" and "Anywhere else, they'd have put you in a coffin". Well, yes. Shepard was dead. By letting her go, no one was "giving up" on Shepard. They mourned her and they let her go. That doesn't mean they loved her any less than Liara.

I still stand by what I said about the whole Liara/Kaidan thing though.
If I remember right, he didn't kill her. He was a cremator and started collecting the body parts he didn't want to burn. He says himself that he didn't kill anyone. But I don't know how that would make it more or less creepy.
@leggywillow, I totally agree. Dead is dead. Up until the Lazarus Project there was no such thing as bringing someone back from the dead. I'm happy that Liara did what she did but maybe in the long run it might have been better if Shepard stayed dead.

I always missed that line, that's what I get for always choosing the upper right dialogue option.
Also, you do make a good point there leggywillow, I guess I too have given her a pass because it worked. I can just imagine yelling at someone for how crazy and in denial they were if we had to take Project Lazarus down as a side mission in ME1 because they were making super powered zombies that may or may not come back wrong. After all it still is Cerberus.
