LOOOOL. The best part is that a rudimentary GIS for simply "Paddlepop Lion" returns many, many side-by-sides. If that's not worthy of a salute, I don't know what is.

My hubby is from Brisbane and I used to live on the Gold Coast! Gotta love QLD!

I love the internet for making the world so much smaller. Queenslander!

It is amazing how people are connected from all parts of the world! (I am Dutch though) When we do get a chance to go back to Bris we always try to stop up in Caloundra - I really miss the weather! Posted Image

I perfer the good ol'brittish weather, its the middle of spring, should be warming up, but OOH its still cold, (i Posted Image the cold)

I live in Bath at the moment and I am fed up with the cold and drizzle to be honest. I was really pleased with that one week of warm weather we had, come on sunshine and summer!

Londoner here, i hate summer Posted Image, i perfer the cold winds of winter Posted Image

Hey.

I draw the line at Nickelback.

Paddlepop Lion?  I want to say yes I agree, because he sounds like he should look just like that...

@Kolo - If you guys spoke Dutch I would add a song that is sung in one of the dialects. It always reminds me of Horizon because it's a lady singing about how it has been so long since she has seen him but she is still looking for him even though time has passed. Very touching song.

Well this is the song. You'll have to give me a minute on the translation, I need to translate from Fries to Dutch and then to English. I find it simple but sweet.

Edit: Sorry it loses a bit of meaning in translation to english but you'll be close enough:

It has already been so long since I last saw you
And it hurts so much when I think of it x2
I see you
I hear you
I feel you anew every time
Here I am
But where are you?
It is already so long ago
You are nothing but loving/caring
Because you don't do anything wrong
I love you exactly as you are
I just wanted you to know that
Here I am
(here I am)
But where are you?
(but where are you?)
It is already so long ago
You are nothing but loving/caring
Because you don't do anything wrong
I love you exactly as you are
I just wanted you to know that
I see you
I hear you
I feel you anew every time.
Anew every time....

I guess I expected Bioware would either kill off Shepard "it's the end of Shepard's storyline" or force some diabolical choice on you. Never expected three crappy non-choices and a ghost kid. No, none of that made sense, I shall continue with the fanfic and just put it all to one side for a while and pretend that it's not all over yet. We got to Earth, said farewells just in case, then - surprise! They all live! Reapers destroyed, celebrations, dancing Ewoks.

Graceyn! Another awesome chapter!!

Thank you :D.

Have more Kaidan!  I love this picture so much:

Also read your latest chapter and it was great :)  Also thanks for posting the lovely pic :)

Ugh, work keeping me away from the internet - what was it thinking!  Kyria, Thanks so much :).  I just went and read your piece "Affirmation", it was wonderful!

Thinking about the DA:O ending old god baby - thanks for that lol.
Now
I have a thought stuck in my head... I wonder how Kaidan would react if
it turns out Liaras "gift" was a little more than just memories...
>.> Assuming she is on gilligans planet too heh
Bah... I don't want to go to bed with THAT image in my head...

Quick find something else to replace it with heh
I beg you...

When I did the "goodbye" scene with Liara, it didn't occur to me that she could be, well, getting herself pregnant, or at least storing "data" to do so later if Shepard died.  Then I saw someone discussing it on a forum thread, and I asked my husband about it, and he was all "Oh that's absolutely what Liara was doing.  No doubt about it."

So...yeah.  I generally play as indulgent of Liara, kind to her but keeping my guard up, but if that really is the case...creepy.

Let's celebrate the dream team - well, my dream team anyway :):

This is the biggest barrier I have with fanart. It's not my Shepard. I even have a hard time watching videos on youtube. It's weird to see a completely different person saying and doing the same things my Shepards do. And for male Shepards, I just can't accept any face other than the default. The voice just sounds wrong if he has another face. It's bizarre, and kind of annoying.

Yeah I know what you mean, I haven't actually seen a maleshep that looks better than the default...I kinda like the default, boxart male shep is kinda sexy tbh.  But the others...doesn't work...

Yeah, I don't, lol. I used to draw a bit when I was in high school, but when I try now everything ends up looking like a potato. Except my potatoes, which end up looking like clouds.

It's not a criticism of the work at all, it just creates an odd disconnect in my mind.

I fully understand that feeling, luckily for me I am pretty good at seeing my Shepard instead of the one actually shown. As for the videos at least it's not that hard to do, just need a program to record video from the game and the ability to cut it into clips for upload.

I use Fraps (Paid version) with Windows Live Movie Maker. I think my ex uses Adobe Premier Elements to do his stuff. The problem with me is remembering to record the stuff I want to make vids of.

Lol I have that problem too, or I forget I'm recording and end up with HUGE files that make my harddrive go "WTF?!"

well i try to record as much as i can in 1 session, i almost finished recording garrus romance cutscenes, i jsut need to edit my save to have low war assets as i want the cutscene when u use destroy that the men at the end turn to dust, i know its there as i seen it on my xbox 1 time

i use bandicam to record my stuff, its similar to fraps just takes up less space, like if you record a 3min video it wont be say 3gig it would be like 3mb or something

i also use avs video editor, only problem with that i have no clue how to add text haha

Lol, yeah. I picked up Fraps specifically for taking screenshots in ME3, and have lost count of how many times I've gone to look at my screens and realised I'd hit record instead and now have 30 gigs of video of Shepard shopping.

I've toyed with the idea of learning to cut videos, just never acted on it. One of these days, perhaps... Lord knows I have no shortage of inspiration music now, haha.

I use a program called Free 3GP Video Converter to make the Fraps files
more managable.  I just play until my fill up my hard drive and then go
and put the stuff in the converter and convert it over to MP4 files,
much smaller.

*edit for quote fail /sigh

Yeah, I am the same with other Sheps. FemShep not as much for some reason, but with male Shepard I just find it looks wrong when any but the default face is used. I agree Ajna, default Sheploo has his own appeal.

Yeah I do agree with that on that. Sheploo is the only male shep that even begins to make sense to me.  He's also quite intriguing B)

Haha, I have the same problem. I can't even play more than one Shepard. I have one, and I play her over and over again, because any other face with the same voice is just...no. I made a second one, just to try, and I turned it off after Eden Prime...
