That's weird, I just tried to open the playlist and Grooveshark loads but it comes up with a "not found" message.
Did we break it Kolo?
Well, I know that Grooveshark has been doing some fiddling with their website the last couple of days...I know at one point i wasn't able to get to the playlist if I clicked on the link in a forum post, I had to copy/paste it into a new tab or else I'd get the "not found" message. So it could just be some glitchiness from whatever work they're doing, but still, it doesn't inspire confidence...
I may just start doing a backup list on youtube or something in meantime, just in case the problems persist.
Unfortunately on the germany front, it seems that Grooveshark pulled their service in January due to high licensing fees (which is the same issue I have; a lot of the popular streaming services won't come to Canada because the recording industry here is run by a bunch of old, uptight jerks. But that's a rant for another time.)
Let me know if the problems persist over a few days and I'll see if I can find some other...arrangement...
Edit: But my computer did BSOD while I was typing this reply the first time, so I'll blame that on you, if you like.
:oI made your PC BSOD? Wow..I'm getting better, Canada is the furthest so far...
Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

Me: Uh, yeah....
Kyle: You do realize that you spend more time with him than you do with me *he laughs*
Me: If you had an ass like that *shows pic of Kaidan's rumpshaker* I'd spend more time with you!

Let's see, what did I miss?
Playlist chat:
Does Playlist.com work in Canada? It's what I used to use, or Rhapsody. Although I think you have to pay for the latter.
What's wrong with Nickelback? I like them well enough, although I've never actually listened to any of their songs that haven't been played on the radio.
Locations and stuff:
Ah, so he meant THAT Sunshine Coast. For some reason, I thought he meant the one in Australia, which I found curious but kinda awesome that he'd own property there.
And back when the Seattle/Vancouver merger thing was released about ME3, I got all giddy because, being that I live in Seattle and Seattle is the same city as Vancouver in the future, that means, in a sense, that I live in the same place Kaidan does! Yeah, I know, not really, but still. Don't crush my dreams.

Grooveshark was having a server with the fits and they were on and off for a couple of days. It took me two tries to get into the site every time while that was going on.Kolotosa wrote...

I can access Playlist.com, but not everything is available due to licensing restrictions. And I don't find it that easy to use besides the point, but that might just be me being a snob. And there's nothing inherently wrong with Nickelback, but being an adopted Canadian, I'm bound by law to ridicule them or else I get deported.
At any rate, I threw together a quick backup/alternative for anyone who wants to listen to what we've gathered so far on YouTube, which is hopefully a bit more globally-friendly:
http://www.youtube.c...0F256B7F90A97F8
Although there's a 4 song discrepency between the two lists and I'm too dopey right now to track it down. Still, I think FOUR HOURS of Shenko music is enough to start.
You guys rock.

Thanx! I know. I'm not used to working with Sony Vegas Pro. I usually work with Windows Movie Maker. I'll have to play with it some more to figure out how to get the right resolution.

Okie dokie, here's what you do to adjust your screen size/resolution/ratios, a step by step guide complete with screenshots! (because I like to see in visuals):
Step 1: Go to File - Properties

Step 2: Adjust the settings as you'd like. I'm a quality control freak, so I always go with 1080p and 30FPS (see below)

Step 3: After clicking okay on whatever settings you chose, go to your video clip in the timeline and right click - video event pan/crop

Step 4: In the pan/crop window, right click on the video preview and click Match Output Aspect

So, for the playlist... I know a lot of you probably don't like country music, but I swear. Sometimes I think whoever wrote the songs for Lonestar played Mass Effect with a Shenkomance:
Kaidan at the beginning of ME3 (Let's Be Us Again)
Kaidan after Horizon/After the cannon ending (Not a Day Goes By)
Kaidan if you break it off with him in ME3
Yeah. There's more. But those are the ones that stick with me. >.>
Added 'em all!
My parents we huge country music fans. When I was growing up they were constantly playing all those great old classic country & western records... Waylon Jennings, Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson... I hated it back then but I look back on it now with a great sense of nostalgia, and even though I don't like some of the artists of the so-called "new country", the genre is somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me.
I'm kind of partial to Keith Urban (again, reminds me of home, and dinners with my sisters
Edit: Oh, what the hell. I added it to the YouTube list. Can't find any Keith on grooveshark, EMI probably smacked them down. There's just some creepy imposter karaoke version. NO DICE.
