Hrm. Everyone should pick a song from the Shenko playlist and write a fic to it. ;P

I'm awful at songfics <_< Well, worse than I usually am with regular stories, anyways. I'm currently writing five stories (three Shenko, one co-written, one original) and I can't seem to focus enough to finish one. Baaaaah.

*grin* I'm not that great either, but I am seriously debating one. All of my stories so far have been heavy on the emotion and angst - I really want to do one that's a little lighter. I just can't think of a good prompt.

 I can help with that! My stories are all almost too fluffy and humourous, if you need a random, silly prompt, I can surely assist you in some way.

Actually, I'm working on a collection of oneshots at the moment, prompted by filling out something called an OC (Original Character) Quiz. As the title implies, you're supposed to use OCs for it, but I just threw in ME characters instead. Basically, you assign a number to a character (usually 10 characters total), and then you'll have a list of scenarios (i.e. 1 and 7 go to the beach, write what happens!). After completing over 50 OC quizzes, I looked back through all the situations and found that some of them would make for a fun fanfic, and that's my current project!
You could try doing that for ideas? Here's a quiz, for example.

Thanks, Lady! I'll give it a whirl and see what comes up. I really want to try my hand at some fluff - I'm afraid I'm scaring off readers by being too serious. XD At least, I don't seem to get many reviews. XD

Hello Kaidanites, I have some questions because I don't have much experience with direct download games.

Soooo... There is a sale on ME1 UK version on Gamersgate. I wonder if it's region-locked (I live in Australia at the moment)? Since I've been moving around counries too much, I've been having problem with buying console games so I shall stick with more DD games from now on (plus I have a sick rig now). Always wanted the PC version because well who wouldn't want nice screenshots ;)

And well it's a nice excuse again to see Kaidan in his LT days :wizard:

Help? pweety please?! And to draw your attention... have a Major Alenko

Posted Image

See the loveliness of screenshots, finally getting around to play my free ME2 PC version, Commander Alenko hasn't been getting much attention compared to LT or Major Alenko

omg, like trying to pick a favourite child.

Challenge, accepted. B)

Speaking of which, I'm ashamed of myself for neglecting to add earlier what I consider to be THE MOST AMAZING LOVE SONG EVER to the list. I have remedied the situation.

Edit: Damn it, screwy forums and ToP.

Dude, Kaid, you just going to stand there and let Vega stare at your woman's chest?

He does look pretty pissed.  I'm wondering if he's debating whether to deck Vega or just rest easy in the knowledge that Shep doesn't want him anyway.  ^_^

ETA: That song is so sorrowful!  The lyrics aren't, they're beautiful, but the music is so dreadfully sad.  :crying:  I'm more a happy song kind of girl, especially for Shenko.  They have so little time together.  Shep shouldn't waste it feeling sad about whatever might come next!  :D

This is how Synthesis exists in my mind (I think I've tried to explain it elsewhere on the forum).  Even though I go with destroy, I understand Synthesis this way, and after the DLC hits and I've picked my Destroy ending for my first playthrough, I'll go through again for this...

I didnt mean to cause any trouble with the playlist. I know why it wont play, because of stupid GEMA licensing stuff. <_< So annoying.

I'm german and it never bothered me while I lived here. Then I moved to the States and I could look at pretty much anything and everything I wanted to. Now I'm back in Germany for a couple of years and a lot of videos I want to look at are blocked because of Gema. Today I tried to find a working video for Evanescence's "My Immortal". It's impossible to find one and I have given up :?

I'm listening to Raphael Sbarge play a nasty, evil spy on Star Trek: Voyager and every time he says something I just squee. When he gets upset and such you can really hear Kaidan in him and its just...:wub::wub:<3<3<3<3

We really need a drool icon.

Ah yes, Seska's little sucker. I actually felt sorry for that character, because he got played SO hard.

Awwww, I don't find it sad at all. I find it soothing and evocative. In my mind, this is totally the Shenko soundtrack for after steaks. :P I mean, not that I've thought about that in any detail, of course... ahem. >.>

Priisus, I know it's been several hours since you asked, but you shouldn't have any issues with region-locking, especially since they're long released games. I don't have any experience with GamersGate, but I have ME! & 2 on Steam and was able to happily connect and play them on my laptop the last time I visited Oz. I can't imagine GamersGate should be any different.

Raphael is one of those VA's where you see him and say to yourself "Ohhhh it's HIM!"  but can't for the life of you remember where the familiarity comes from, he's been in SO much, but he's very very familiar to me.  I used to love Dollhouse, I used to love Charmed, he's been in so much that I used to love...who was he in Charmed?  Because it still bugs the hell out of me, I guess he must have played a character that I liked a lot in something...grrrr

Anyway, my subconscious would like you all to know that the entrance to hell is a vent...

I am all too familiar with the pain of moving from one region to another. PC games are FINE! it's xbox that's the problem. Most xbox titles are unlocked these days - but not all. You can't tell from the packaging which are and which aren't. Turns out, Wipeout is locked, and wouldn't play on our UK xbox. Along with several other titles we tried.

Second problem - oh yes it gets more complicated - is that your xbox live account is region locked. Crazy? Yep, that's how it works. I could not say my account was now in the US. I couldn't purchase more points for xbox live because I got rid of my old UK credit card, and my US credit card would not be accepted. Your downloaded content is tied to your account. You can join xbox live as a family, but only if you all live in / accounts are from the same country. So my husband and I could join a family, but not my son (whose account was created after we moved).

Moral of the story, if you move regions / countries semi-permanently, just leave your old xbox behind and write it off as a total loss and buy a new one with all new accounts! (take your saves if you can and hope they may still work but I cannot guarantee they will.)

And this is why I'm still a PC girl!

Hehe thanks. I wanted to write something different, because with the stories I wrote about my renegade I pretty much went fluff. Kinda ironic, my renegade get fluff and my paragade gets angst

heh, I have so many stories on my hard drive that I just look at and shake my head they are so full of angst. Contrary to what people see of my writing, it isn't easy for me to not write angst.

*edit D***it here we go again top have a Kaidan :o
