See I'm with chibievil there, I have tried several times to not romance Kaidan, I can't do it, he's just to cute and adorable.

I had 1 Shepard that cheated with Garrus that I thought I deleted. So i started her up and played a bit. I must say Garrus's date is really sweet, but it's impossible for me to not go with Kaidan. I feel like I'm missing something if I dont finish the Garrus romance because I heard it has sweet little tidbits here and there. Damn you Kaidan, why do you hve to be all sexy and hot and stuff ....

Also not getting the "butt shot" of Kaidan walking away was very upsetting

so I was trawling through the tumblrverse last night and one of the sites i frequent had this song that i'd never heard before which is quite beautiful and also depressing lol... fits quite well with the whole shenko theme...anyways.. here is the link to the song, if this was to fit into the shenko soundtrack this would be after Shepard dies again.. it haunting and this singer Lana Del Rey has the most beautiful voice

if this link doesnt work, the song is called Dark Paradise by Lana Del Rey, listen hard to the words.. it fits Shepard/Kaidans tragic story so well (it would totally be from Kaidans POV)

partial  lyrics to Dark Paradise ,this song would even fit their story when Shepard died the first time... it so perfectly fits how I imagine Kaidan wouldve been thinking/feeling when he found out she was dead...

Have to agree with the others here, not normally my type of music, however, that song definitely fits their relationship. I sometimes wonder if Shepard's relationships were meant to be a tragic love story...

Thanks for this. You know it's funny, yesterday when I was fiddling with the playlist, I actually was thinking about Lana Del Rey... I've heard a bunch of her stuff and I love her voice (Video Games was good, but Born To Die is just freaking mezmerising, it's so raw), and she does that kind of maudlin style really well, I figured there had to be a song amongst her stuff that would fit. And there it is.


It's kind of strange to me sometimes to think of Kaidan as being the kind to fall to pieces over Shepard. I guess because he is so reserved and collected, if conflicted, all of the time. The idea of him just losing his **** over Shep's death is the saddest thing ever. "I spent two years pulling myself back together..." Aw, Kaidan. He's so in love.

This is how Synthesis exists in my mind (I think I've tried to explain it elsewhere on the forum).  Even though I go with destroy, I understand Synthesis this way, and after the DLC hits and I've picked my Destroy ending for my first playthrough, I'll go through again for this...

As a nerd, I find Synthesis harder to understand myslf  Also, I hate the way it forcs you to go againts the things you learn in biogloy

It does have some downsides. My mother in law was here to visit last week. When i opened my laptop and she saw my background she asked who it was. I said he was a video game character that I very much enjoy. Well, her not liking video games at all just gave me some nasty look and raised eyebrows. Gotta love family
