That really should've been ingame   and on a dialogue related question, what's the mission where Kaidan makes a comment about Virmire on the shuttle? That didn't happened in my playthrough...

its the lieutenant victus mission, after difusing the bomb, if you don't bring garrus with you

Thanks, I'll try to take him there next time, but on my other 2 playthroughs he wasn't with me again at that point.

Haha, Banshee try grab me but went BOOM (missile launcher) in MP... me Hopper with his Paladin just kicks Cerby, geth and reapers managans

Oh and any idea what to do on ME3?

on my first playthrough i rushed through everything to get kaidan back, even if i lost a few side missions as i know i could just play through it again to do them and not worry about getting kaidan back (well i still do but not the point), and when i finally got him back i savoured all the side missions and main missions for him.

Until I saw the posts discussing the order of missions in this thread, it never even occurred to me that I could get Kaidan back earlier, so I was super happy to learn that I could do The Coup earlier without suffering any terribly plot-important side effects, and then have more Kaidan time. Taking him for The Bomb was made so much greater just for his reflection on Virmire in the shuttle. Poor guy.

I find it a bit sad that you can't get him back before curing the genophage, though. The scene at the end of Tuchanka with the cure showering down over the planet is so gorgeous, the lighting and the music...ugh, just beautiful. If Kaidan was there, that'd make for some (even more) awesome screenshots.

My favourite mass effect music is called Vigil, its played a few times in ME3 when a character dies, Mordin (when the shroud collapes) when legion deactives himself and a few other places i just can't remember right now

you could take him earlier but requires save game editor, but he mostly won't have any dialog, but its fun just looking at him and having him in battles

I'm just going to confirm this with my fellow Kaidanites: it has absolutely been proven that in order to get Kaidan on the Tuchanka: Bomb mission, you have to forego completing the Benning mission, yes?

here's the order I did mine to get Kaidan in group for Bomb quest

Surkesh
Rachni
Benning
Turian Platoon
Tuchanka (cure genophage)
Citadel
Bomb

The Rachni one can be left till after the bomb quest, as either Turian Platoon or Rachni trigger the cure genophage mission... so you can get all quests done 

Oh, excellent. I can just do the Rachni mission to get Benning to trigger. I hate having to let quests expire. Thanks for the help!

wow..computer run took way longer than expected ( thank god for good friends to cart my beast and me to another city)... turns out bad HD but i got a loaner til the new new one comes in... and my pc dude can just move everything over.

bad news- i had an accident...of all the times to be clutzy.. i think i screwed up my knee, there were sounds and grinding..but i guess it could have been worse if i actually fell and i do see the therapist tomorrow and the dr is 1 floor up.

*Sigh* I don't understand people's rationale at all, browse through the Gameplay forum (The only other place I visited in BSN besides this thread)... over time there's a lot of "I hate VS" thread, feels like putting my argument into it why I like both VS (yes both) and think that it's pointless... It's like arguing with the Councils to make them realize about the existence of Reapers.

I can understand having a favorite character and defending them... but bashing another because you don't like them and usually without a valid reason just makes it sound so... ridiculous? ... and then linking "I hate this character" so the other aspects of their character (i.e: gameplay) also sucks.

Here are the two that bugged me:

"Ashley - Awful talents and an awful character in general, a perfect match!"

"I think this thread shows that Kaiden is the most worthless. LOL only one person has mentioned him. I hate him and there is hardly a need for him. Even if you do like him he spends half of the game in the hospital."

If they mentioned Kaidan sucks because Sentinel is too "spread out" and other squaddies can do stuffs better than him (Vega is the better tank, Garrus has the higher weapon damage, EDI does more Tech damage compared to him etc...) I would've been ok but instead they pulled the "I hate this character so he's worthless"



OK I get it we might be bias (to Kaidan and prob Ash and me just Sentinel in general). Plus everybody's entitled to their opinions but the way people expressed it makes it sound so hostile. That's another reason why I don't think I will touch multiplayer in the future.

I guess I just need a hug from the nice people here... 

And on a Kaidan related note, so I bought the ME DD version (thank you for those telling me that it's ok for me to get it )... And I just realized that if there's one thing he's consistent at... is that he's bad at flirting.

ugh, so much kaidan to enjoy with the new 560TI in 16X AF and 32X AA with the high res ME1 /ME3 textures, so few hours of the day it seems
