I've been spending so much time playing ME3 lately that it's becoming more and more strange to think of the Kaidan from ME1 and ME2 as being the same person, you know? He looks so different, he's more fleshed out as a character, he's more confident and self-aware... It's such an awesome character growth.

Of all three appearances, ME2 Kaidan is my least favourite, not just because of the omgangst, but he even looks weird. The whole scene has that strange soap opera fuzzy glow, and he looks like he's carved out of wax, it's creepy.

I loved his character's development. Admittedly I never focussed too much on the details in ME2 my head just kind of went "it's Kaidan!! Yay" followed by . I do like that he's more assertive in ME3 than in ME1 and he's definintely developed character-wise to be a good match for Shepard.

I would've liked the option to leave Liara behind. But that might have led to Ashley and Kaidan consolling each other after Shepard's death and then Shep would have to shoot Ashley, so maybe it's better this way.

Yeah, I agree. I don't like the way Liara is forced down your throat, or that she's the only squad member with narrative invulnerability. You have the option of leaving behind or killing off everyone else; I want the option with her as well. In ME3, I wish I could ship her off to work under Hackett's command; her information brokerage would be a lot more use to him than it is taking up space in my XO's office. Kaidan should be my XO. Not her.

Also, i'm pretty sure she's some kind of soul eating demon, I mean look at this!

That made me laugh so hard! But yes Kaidan should be the XO, I understand Liara wanting to be a part of the ground team on Thessia but I didn't see why she HAD to be there. James wants to be on the ground team on Earth but he's not a 'must take' character. I still did anyway but that was personal choice.

yeah, she is so disturbing, I do not like her character at all.

only because Shepard asked it  When Shepard is around, Liara cant stand a chance.

 Wow it's been so long since I dropped in on the Kaidanites I've missed out on over 20" pages (and I'm not catching up ... I'm dedicated but not that dedicated!)  But in the few pages I did go over we have real life Kaidan sightings, blonde kaidans  And turians without armor ... Seems I've missed a lot! Also seems like a lot of the ending debates have died down and things are back to Kaidan business which is nice to see

Aw, thanks. There are a few things that bug me about her face that I want to tweak, because they don't become apparent until I get in-game. Her cheek bones are a little too protruding sometimes, and her mouth looks wide during some cutscenes -- but honestly, that's a problem I've had with all 3 of my femsheps, so i'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or the game is.

Thanks , I have same problems with my Shep (cheeks and lips). When she do her "dirty smile" at Kaidan lol (apollo`s date) it really disturbs me lol

I did, however, notice that  his eyes looked a bit more Asian like they used to when he flashes through Shep's head following Joker & Anderson at the end. With that big smile.

I guess I'm sensible enough not to click on the blonde Kaidan link or google Turian without armor... 

But basically you guys nailed the feeling about Garrus' romance for me... He's such a BFF that I felt wrong trying to romance him, my friend begged me to though 'cause Turian's her thing I guess and she can't play shooter to save her life... <_<

His romance plotline in ME2 feels so awkward ("the heat sink dialogue" - gosh), and at least it's better in ME3 but nothing... no other character's romance can compare to Kaidan's 

Yeah, I still need a bottle of brain bleach to get rid of blonde Kaidan (someone said he looked like Gunther from friends- ha! so true), which was probably the worse of the two.

I'll admit that the Garrus romance was awkward in ME2.  I tried it mostly to get the acheivement.  But in ME3, it was really super sweet!  Garrus turned out to be a really good boyfriend- and he finally stopped asking me to help him kill people he doesn't like.  I thought BW did a great job with his story .  It was like his and Shepard's relationship had naturally grown more intimate over the years.  Obviously, it's not anywhere near has hawt as Kaidan's, but Garrus is still my 2nd favorite character in the series.

Oh and Liara:  I don't have a problem with her, but I'd really like to be able to kill her off.  I'm not saying I would.  I'd just like the option to be there.

I can't stand her. She is so creepy! You can't even be nice to her in ME1 without having her hit on you and think you are in a relationship with her. Then you die and she goes after your body...yeah, too much 

Also...Thessia...I wish I could just kill her or something. Why couldn't she stay with the people building the crucible?

`cause he not using console on SR-1 anymore LOL. I believe it was responsible for his tanned skin

I guess I'm more sensitive to the problems with her face because I had to really rebuild her entirely after import. Even though I imported this one after the patch where they fixed the import bug, her face just looked totally wrong. It took me a long time to get her to look as close to her old self as she does, but I can't help obsessing over the little things.

For comparison sake, this was her in ME1 and 2



I don't know. I try to rationalise it by saying she's just getting older and not taking as good of care of herself.

You know what else disturbes me about FemSheps in ME3? Make up. Their lower lashes are full of mascara and their upper lashes are just...normal. It looks so weird (or at least they did on my Shep and I tried all the eye make up and they all looked the same)
