@Doodle (girlish snicker) -- Ooh, the adept in ME3 is SO MUCH FUN. That's what this Shepard of mine is. I didn't like it as much in ME2, but it was fun as heck in 1 & 3. My go-to squad is Kaidan and James; it's a pretty well-rounded group and we rip things apart. And also eye candy for moi.

I'm really trying to control the random BSODing! 

Perhaps it's sympathising with my PC, mine doesn't BSOD, oh hang on, it did do it the other day, but it doesn't happen often, I do hear it going "omg fk oooooofffff" when I'm making it do too much though...

Well, I dumped my video drivers and did a fresh install. Everybody think happy thoughts for me and pray that it's some sketchy software issue and not an exploding-video-card-sending-shards-of-metal-and-plastic-into-Kol's-eyeballs kind of issue. Because I'm sick of buying new video cards. And plastic surgery.

How often are you replacing video cards?  I mean I've bought three in the past year, but that was just because I wanted to upgrade.  If you're having to replace them fairly often, I would check into figuring out a way to get better ventilation into  your system, as it sounds like you're overheating them.

Well, it's been somewhat of a comedy of errors with us. My boyfriend works IT, so by extension we just always tend to be fiddling with our rigs. A couple years ago I was having heat issues and ended up having to replace a good portion of my system. The video card I had in my case at the time was a behemoth of a thing, and it began to cause serious heat problems as it died -- I mean, serious; it heat my case up so much that the processor literally FUSED to its heatsink. XD

We replaced the case, the processor and the video card, and the power supply on my machine... then my boyfriend's vid card, because he wanted to upgrade... and then earlier this year we saw a great deal on a Radeon 6850, which was significantly better than what I was running, so we grabbed it. Now I'm afraid it may be a dud card, but I guess we'll see.

We just seem to always be buying bits and pieces for one reason or another. We were finally in a good place with them, it seemed, and now this. >.<

I just need something to keep an eye on my heat emissions. Maybe one of these.

HAHA I know this feeling all to well.  I am constantly tinkering with my main rig, always have to get more performance out of it /snicker.

i have not had a bsod since like 3-4 years lols, but that was when i hada crappy nvidea 8400 or something, now i have a i5, a GTX 550Ti. 4gig ram 2 hardrive both 1tb. the only times my pc slow down is if i have too many tabs in google chrome or i accidently run 2 games at once. (once rna me3 and me2, and i still had decent speed hehe) so i am loving this pc.
