I had a Shep that "hardened" (/giggles) Kaidan in ME1 and I didn't get any different dialogue with him. Sadly, would have loved seeing a renegade Kaidan.

EDIT: I also saw this video recently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tox-iSrJz5E  , not strictly Kaidan related, but there's Kaidan in it, Alistair and Anders too....and since these three guys are my favourite Bioware romances, when I saw someone had made a video encompassing all THREE of them...I just about fainted

loved the Bioware Lover's vid... so gotta finish DAO and DA2 once i get everything reinstalled and hopefully allowed to put back all the mods lol. Stupid bad 'new' HD... would like to say more lol... but my right arm/hand is pinned by a comfy cat.

Nice, added your picks to the lists.

It's funny to see the three of them in the same video. The feel and tone of all three romances is crazy different. That Anders kiss is still one of the most "holy crap did that really just happen?" moments ever, but I just can't get past 'easiness' of Kaidan. Take that how you want.


Ugh. I can't focus on anything today. What the hell.

Seriously though, I always thought it was a little seriously that you could steer Kaidan the more xenophobic route.  I mean, made for some epic dialogue ("Way to go, Team Milky Way!"), but he always seemed so strong in his convictions, and he certainly seemed much more entrenched in his views in ME2 & ME3.  So I think it's a good thing that he didn't have any different dialogue.  I guess, he was just trying to impress Renegade Shepard in ME1?

well i have a renegade kaidan on my xbox 360 version but in suicide mission i killed off all but 4 characters, and my last save before suicide was at horizon, me so sad guess i will just do arival and then load it up in me3, can't be arsed to do all that stuff in me2 till they fix the ending in me3

Speaking of moms, yesterday when I relinked the photo of my brother's underwear model to my Facebook feed, my mom came along and commented thusly:

"I imagine he's a bit like Sheppard".

Firstly, LOLMOM, and secondly, I'm just so proud she used his name instead of "the terrorist". Debating whether I show her Kaidan. She might have a heart attack. Or suspect I have some ulterior motive for my love of Mass Effect.

I mean, Kaidan is still #1, of course, but the Admirals are like Shepard's parents and I just love them. Hahaha

No you aren't weird... well yes you are you're here and we're all weird, however, you aren't weird that you like Anderson and Hackett more than some people on the Normandy.

Nor are you alone in that, I have always considered them to both be kind of father figures to Shepard.

I adore Hackett and Anderson - especially Hackett. He stuck by Shepard 100%. Even when Anderson expressed some doubts about her in 2, Hackett was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Anderson, though, makes a really solid father figure for her, and I him for it.

I have always gotten the feeling that Anderson has taken alot of crap for everything Shepard has done. He almost acts like an overprotective father. He keeps that shield up between the politicians and Shep I think.

well i just finished Arrival with my renegade character, and i told hackett i expect a reward. he wasn't at all too pleased with that. for me i find hackett to be really annoying, always asking shepard to do things for her, in me1 and in me2 and then alot more in me3. he for me is just soo darn rude. i know he is an admiral but shepard is just 1 person and she/he has alot to deal with.

but i do like anderson, i feel like he is a very protective father figure.

again just my opinion, sorry to people who love hackett
