thats the only way that ending worked for me.. he smiled cause shepard was passed out but recovering after the Normandy rescued Shepard from the blowing up citadel and motoring out of range of the explosion

How embarassing that they actually meant "puny", and that's there for life!  Kaidan is not puny or punny /sigh

And on that note ladies, I must away to work, it's unusual for a Thursday!  I will see you when I return, have fun! *hugs*

I just had a great idea.

A Raphael Sbarge-voiced talking alarm clock. Start your day right with the sweet, husky tones of Kaidan whispering in your ear.

Someone put me in touch with his people, stat.

Wouldn't be very effective alarm clock, because wouldn't you just want to stay in bed and listen to him? ;)

Yeah, you know what, I'm not seeing the problem here. I'll just start paying my rent with reams of cathair or something. :o

It had better had a redundant snooze button or two, because I predict it will be getting a lot of use.

LOL, I so can't see my Shepard as Mr. Rochester.  :P  But a good read, nonetheless.  I even see a quote from IsaacShep in there, if I'm not mistaken!

Even though I will always feel that Kaidan's role in ME2 was badly written and felt like forced, unnecessary drama, I do agree with the writer that Kaidan is one of the characters in the series who feels like he has gotten a full, natural story arc, and while his personality hasn't dramatically changed, he has grown with experience.  I wish we could have gotten more dialogue with him in ME3 exploring this, but I still feel lucky for what we did get.

I like that article! Makes me glad I joined the Kaidan love boat. XD I do enjoy getting to know Mass Effect's characters, especially when you have quite a bit in common with them; he's so guarded and shy, and only opens up if he trusts that person.

And the way he just picks Shepard up in the cabin is just hhhnngggggg. XD YES PLEASE.

I liked the article but I object to the comparison.  Jane Eyre was only Mr. Rochester's equal after he was blinded and maimed.  Kaidan doesn't need Shepard lessened to be her equal.

Yeah, to be honest, I don't really like Mr. Rochester at ALL (creeper with a crazy wife in the attic, and he has the nerve to be a jerk to Jane?  ugh), and I feel like Jane Eyre just had a miserable, unlucky life, so I agree that there's not much there to compare.  I can see how Kaidan was thrown into circumstances beyond his control, and came out stronger, and he has a lot of compassion and understanding, but fortunately, he doesn't have the same kind of adversity to deal with.  Jane's biggest problems had to do with being an intelligent woman with no resources of her own in a time when pulling herself up by her bootstraps was generally not an option.  Kaidan has had problems, but they're really, really different.

Exactly.  I don't actually think he can be compared to anyone in historical literature since he breaks all stereotypes.

And I love your sig.

Same. That's why I insist so much that everyone contributes to 'thank-you' letter to Cathleen Rootsaert, Kaidan's writer in ME3 as I feel she did such an incredible job making Kaidan's Horizon appearance we didn't really like turn into something great and meaningful and true to Kaidan in the end.

It's also a stealth-ploy to get Kaidan DLC mission don't forget :devil::devil::devil:

As pissed off as I still am about this scene, I can still admit that they did a good job with the cinematics.  Major Alenko is looking damn fine.

The cinematic is visually beautiful (especially Synthesis version), but the context is just :pinched::pinched::pinched:

Instead of TOP, I will again respost our 'thank-you' letter to Cathleen Rootsaert poject and hope everyone contributes. I feel she did such an incredible job making Kaidan's Horizon appearance we didn't really like turn into something great and meaningful and true to Kaidan in the end.
