Don't know why but I've always imagined Kaidan and Joker as friends - "Yes, this strange guy is my friend. He can act totally opposite to what I'd do, but still nice guy to talk with" type.

No, but during closer inspection I've found very interesting Miranda.

Ahh, Miranda. Now I'm on switched-genders-from-main playthrough: main about Spacer/War Hero romancing Kaidan and having Miranda as the most trusted person, current is about Spacer/War Hero performing Mirandamance and being BFFs with Kaidan. Oh, and I've recently discovered one thing that may sweeten unskippable intro in the beginning of ME2: it's hearing Kaidan while he's not only doesn't mad at you, but very concerned instead. Just pitiful several lines, but still sweet:crying:

For the very first time, I made a FemShep that didn't romance Kaidan in ME1, and I finally decided to actually carry that character over to ME2 just to see how things were different.

And I don't know if it was my perception or what, but I actually felt that Kaidan was a little more open about his feelings for Shep as a non-romance than he was as a romance! He said he would have followed her anywhere, and losing her was like losing an arm. Why couldn't he have said that for the Shep he was in love with?

I guess I do understand Kaidan enough to know that when it comes to romance, he's really, really cautious... so he can't come out and say, "I missed you, I need you." But damn, Kaidan, take a little risk now and then!

they might finally allow people to take out the Atlas

I wish it would be about new squaddies however, but with our luck that would mean Vega
(on a sidenote: rabbitzoro's vega drawing aka the one that made me not dislike Vega as much as I might have ... all the 'I'll wait for the game to judge the character' talk aside)

EDIT: on a totally biased personal note ... if they reveal the Vanguard's heavy melee and it is as awesome as is befitting a Vanguard the can show the same level till the release of ME3

I try not to get too hyped anymore about games prior to release (though that's mostly related to AC:Brotherhood ... for various reasons)
... usually I fail though and then get excited and go through some rollercoaster ride ... the cylce cannot be broken

it all seems so pointless once the game is actually out *sigh*

I was googling 'Sheploo' for reference pictures and some of the results showed one of the ShenkoTweets ... now it's some time since I used the term 'Sheploo' in a destription so I got curious, turns out it was here on the BSN, let me share and sorry about the image spam
the last one isn't actually part of the Shenko Tweets, but I have to admit, they gave it a nice twist

hopefully I can get my artsy spirits together soon and work on new ones
