For the record, I'm about ready to punch the idiots sitting next to me on the transit. Busses are for sitting and riding, not practicing your UFC tryouts <_< Would being beaten up by a female damage their egos too much, do you suppose?

About Horizon, I still hate it, but I hate it because Kaidan's right and there's nothing I can do about it, the game railroads you beyond your control. If I'd had the chance, I would've given TIM a gesture of "appreciation", taken my ship and pilot, and reported directly back to Hackett.

Woot! I yet have to figure out where to find eva foam locally in the size/thickness I need >.< (eva foam is ... basically craft foam in craft stores but they're awfully thin for armor. o.O)

Me three.  I hated the fact that we had no choice but to work with Cerberus, we definitely should have had the option to tell TIM to stuff it and done what I needed to do as a SpecTRe.

It's funny. I actually don't mind Horizon. I have a lot more respect for Kaidan for sticking to his principles and not just falling in line because 'OMG it's Shepard!' than I would if he simply came crawling back without a whimper. He saw everything that Cerberus did in ME1 - I don't blame him at all for not being willing to trust them, or trust that Shepard isn't being manipulated. Did it hurt? Hell yes. It also helped to put things in perspective for my Shep - it helped to show that she was just like Kaidan - willing to break her own heart to hold strong to what she believes in.

ME2 and ME3 really helped to expand on the facet of Kaidan's character that I loved the most and that I felt was rather understated in ME1 - that he is quite capable of thinking and acting for himself. He neither needs nor wants his hand to be held - he's as much a leader as Shepard is. He's a partner-style character, rather than a follower - someone who will support Shepard as an equal rather than just the standard 'yes sir!' man that you often see from military subordinates in games (like Vega).

Shepard had to go against her gut and heart to do what she knew, intellectually, was right - she had to work with Cerberus because there was no time for bureaucracy. Just because it was the right decision for the circumstances doesn't mean it was the right decision - and Kaidan's reaction on Horizon confirms that. Shepard had to make a deal with the devil in ME2, and I respect Kaidan for questioning whether or not she still had her soul after signing on the dotted line.

I agree with you, Horizon broke my heart, but I understood it completely.  I liked the way it was done, I like the fact that Kaidan stood up to Shepard and called her/him on it, and didn't just follow along behind like a lap dog.

Agreed, I think we would all agree on that, that's the only reason for being okay with it.  My disconnect with ME2 comes from Shepard not feeling like my Shepard, she doesn't behave like my Shepard..I find it frustrating.  Kyria knows what I mean!  As a result it's my least favourite of the trilogy.

I don't think anyone the ME2 even comes close. My brother was always trying to get me to drop Kaidan. He never could understand why I'd stick with Kaidan even when, as he put it, Kaidan didn't have my back. He wanted me to drop Kaidan for Garrus. Now, Garrus is a good friend but no way.

Mine too!  The sexuality is so so forced, from everyone!  I even had to beat Tali off with a sh*tty stick!  I was like "WHY IS EVERYONE TRYING TO SLEEP WITH ME DAMMIT?!", I stuck with space hamster and the photo that Cerberus were kind enough to put in my cabin for me, I even found that odd!  I was glad of it sure, but...what?  Honestly, I think a few times I even ran away to my cabin and locked myself in just to escape from that wanton hussy Chambers!

so how long would it take to finish me1, if i watched all the main quest cutscenes including the talk with kaidan, garrus and wrex (and doing their quests) and maybe tali if i can be bothered
as i just want to record my characters cutscenes in that game, i am also buying the rest of me2 dlcs tomorrow

I wasn't mean to her, I like Tali, her and Garrus were my squad in ME2 (just because I knew them both) but I still had to beat her off!  She was almost like Liara was in ME1, No just NO, I am not interested in you like that!

So yeah, huge disconnect for me lol

It varies per person for my first run, it took me abouts 20 hours.

In ME2, (for me even tho i romanced Tali) Jack and miranda wanted to jump my bones
