New chapter is up: If It Meant Living-53: Atonement / Alt. DA Link.  Kaidan's awake, reading and writing .  Maybe a little .  

I'm so glad I don't have to worry and fret over Horizon anymore!  Hated it every time, my issues were also entirely with Shepard's lame and often inappropriate dialogue options - and not being able to chase after him, of course! (fixed that: If It Meant Living: Parallel Realities).  I'm sure eventually I will do a new full playthrough of 1-3, and I'll still hate it, but mostly I'm just glad it's behind us.

She also let him go too...easily, imo.

I got the impression that they've already been introduced and not just right before ME1. It hasn't been long though.

She's supposed to have been recently assigned to the Normandy.  Not necessarily having gone on any missions, since the opening shot is her looking out through the shuttle window as it travels away from Earth toward Acturus station where the Normandy picks her up.  But it's at least been a few days.  Hence the crack about bumping into Nihlus every time she turns around.

I don't think they knew eachother before Eden Prime. I think Kaidan "knew" Shepard from her/his military backround. Seeing as she/he was somewhat famous in the Alliance, I'm sure Kaidan heard the thing or two about her/him.

I played it yesterday too, However the glitching stoped /cheers... however shepard still likes to act like she's on red sand sometimes.... beat fero & has liara... so next is... don't know, few side missions... get wrex & garrus quests done... done tali's quest first
