 I started reading a Shenko fanfic. The story was good and everything but there were so many mistakes that...I couldn't keep on reading it.

That's always the issue, you can't lose yourself in the story if there are too many mistakes.

It didn't really bother me, I guess, because nothing ever comes of it. He could have been promoted to Grand Poobah for all it actually mattered.

I'm with Ajna I loved the fact that he outranked Shepard.  I thought it was great .

It didn't bother me in game, but...I don't know. In the beginning, I felt like Shepard was left behind...everyone got a new rank except her...
