Well, ME2 is far more optimised and PC-friendly than ME1. My poor old nVidia 8600 GT was nearly getting a heart attack every time I launched ME1 and worked well with ME2 - the only problem was "many biotics simultaneously" and entire LotSB.Criz-Zone wrote...

Edit: my current nVidia 570 GTX feels normal even with multiple biotics - ME3 ready, so to say:P

I have such a terrible graphics card. And my computer gets reallllllly hot every time I play either game. But I do it anyway..... My processor is probably frying.
I'm thinking about getting an xbox, since I don't know if my computer will be able to handle ME3 but I'm not sure about the game play. But I have to decide soon so I can pre-order it. auuuuuuuugh. Anybody play it on 360?

I prefer Kaidan with body hair maybe it's because when I shave/trim I feel for some reason more vulnerable with out it, though it's nice to feel smooth skin with out any hair to get in the way.

it's probably just something they couldn't afford to do ... I mean if you play DA2 as a mage on casual and despise those robes you can just not equip robes/armor and mHawke will rund around with the standard nekkid chested, long pants wearing body ... no hair in sight ... excuse me?! did you see Garrett's hair and beard lately and then tell me he doesn't have any hair on the rest of his well-shaped body?!

*raises hand* I play both ME and ME2 on the 360 (and am insanely jealous of PC users and their awesome screenies, btw). There's only a couple things that really annoys me, gameplay-wise:
-Using cover in ME1, the execution is extremely clunky. You need to be against the area you want to use as cover, and then move towards it to "take cover". The problem is, it doesn't always work, and Shepard just runs into the wall and won't go into cover mode. It's worse for low cover, you have to press the analog stick to crouch, then move to take cover, but when you get out of cover mode, you're still crouching. When you crouch, you can't run, you move really slow, so you can't pop out of cover and run to another cover without some skillful button mastery (which I do not have.) Thankfully, they fixed this in ME2, to go into cover you hit the A button when pressed against the area you're using for cover.
-Planet scanning in ME2. You need to go into "scan mode" by pressing Y, and then holding down the left trigger to scan, and the right trigger to launch a probe. My poor left finger gets cramped up if I scan for too long, I don't know why I have to hold down a button to scan when they make me go into scan mode using another button. *shrugs*
Other than that, it plays like any other third person shooter.

needless to say I kind of felt castrated in ME2 at first until you get used to it
and no Kaidan who got my back ... what's a Shep to do?!

I've read some stuff pc vs. 360 but it's not super helpful. I almost wish I just had the funds to buy another computer specifically for games. I don't knowww.
Scanning sucks on a laptop as well probably because I don't use a mouse.
Anyway, this is the perfect amount of furr for me. <3

ME1 runs terribly on my PC as well. Lately it's been erroring my video card drivers, and before that would crash requiring a hard reboot, not even CTD just frozen PC. Damn elevators! I could never tab out, so screenshots were a no-no. Does ME1 CTD (crash to desktop) on you?
About the only major thing with ME2 on PC is the processor. If you have a single core, it may be an issue. If your single core is hyperthreaded (2nd virtual core) you can run it. And it runs beautifully! But give it a try, you may not have the problems with 2.
As for hair vs. not, I'm definitely in the minority that I like Kaidan smooth, or maybe with some chest hair. Nothing that would cover up the goods though.

No, my ME1 doesn't crash to desktop. It doesn't launch at all, because somewhere in "localized Win7 64 bit, russian version of nVidia ForceWare, DirectX 11, localized ME1 and localized patch 1.02 to it" there are at least two incompartibles. ME1 even can't find a graphic card, so doesn't launch - and I'm restricted in 8 existing ME1 Shepards which I've done at XP. Luckily, I have all possibilities covered, but all my time with Kaidan is limited to opening and Horizon.Pax of Doom wrote...

I'm surprised they didn't give him a little. I just know too many guys IRL with the undersweater, and IMHO it gets icky when there's so much.
Where's ME3 finally?
And at more pleasant question - I'm in very minority who loves equally both smooth and... not so smooth:P

I've always been under the impression that most women (not sure about men) look at chest hair and think, "eww gross." So maybe this is just a weird thread (in a totally good way). hahaha
At least, most of my friends think that. But I mean, the guys can't help it, and it is pretty manly and sexy, in my opinion.

The nude male model has some chest hair, but the Ilos lighting and camera angles make it look flat. ... the male uniform model also appears to have fuzzy arms.

Are the uniform arms more furry than naked model arms lol? Maybe they just didn't bother with naked models considering they're 5 seconds on screen hahaFireEye wrote...

Yus, but my problem is not because of my graphic card or pc, is because I can't install the game, the disc doesn't recognize my cd code, so don't let me install the game.
EDIT: Top of the page...needs a Kaidan
