I think I saw the second one a couple pages but, but then of course in my humble opinion there can't be enough half naked Kaidan.

I WAS intending to spend the day writing, too (afternoon classes cancelled, hurrah), but I ended up ordering my friend ME1, 2, and 3 for her birthday instead. Which is why I'm now writing out a detailed "Guide" to the series that she'd be able to understand and help her through the games (since she's never played a Bioware game with the exception of the few times she's done so with me).
I wish someone had given me a guide to how Bioware games work when I first played one (Origins, in my case). Not only did I miss on most of the companions and accidentally kill the ones I did find, I also royally screwed up my leveling, made some bad decisions, and missed a lot of the game. I didn't even know you could talk to your companions, change your weapons, or change your armor until I had finished 2/3 of the game!
Which is why I'm attempting to write this, so she doesn't mess up as badly as I did. Granted, ME is a lot more forgiving than DA:O (at least, ME1 is).
Edit: That was in response to Kolo's comment about spending the day writing
I just think of a Kaidan pose/image relevant to the conversation and do a Google image search. How the heck else do you think I came up with Catsuit-Kaidan?leborum wrote...

This is a great place to check out too. Soooo much Kaidan. Because I am old and uncool, I find tumblr very confusing, and the folders at the DevArt site are so easy to navigate.
We are NOT discussing the catsuit... I'm still trying to get that image out of my head... great... where's the brain bleach again /sighlegbamel wrote...

I'm going to presume he's so hungry and tired from a recent battle in which he used his biotics at full power for too long that he fell asleep while looking for a snack.

I Posed it myself, i have no underwear shepard so N7 Hoodie will have to do till i do. and i got a screenshot of the ship models to use as background

Wow, you are the best friend ever! And you're writing out a guide? You should be nominated for sainthood.
Confession: I completely missed the mabari on my first DA:O playthrough.

I have an odd obsession with getting my friends elaborate giftsLast year, I made her an Elven Cloak from Lord of the Rings, and the year before I got her a lifesized, cardboard cutout of Johnny Depp (her at the time love). Good thing I only have two close buddies.
On my first playthrough, I missed the Mabari, Leliana, Sten, Shale, and killed Zevran and Wynne. Alistair broke up with me after the Landsmeet, Morrigan left after I refused her deal, which left me in the end with Alistair and Oghren. And then I died. Cheery. And that's why I'll be forever paranoid of playing a Bioware game blind.

Fixed my Good-bye post,
By the way, just been looking at the veiws of the most popular threads, Kaidan has 1,041k
Everybody else has 950k or less (miranda has 962k)
Seems like there is a Major section of Kaidan lurkers out there...

I always play them blind. It adds to replayability for me: every time I run another character I find things I've missed.
Of course that means that my first character through leads a miserable life. My first Warden got dumped by Alistair so he could be a better king and then he fed himself to a dragon. I was literally screaming at the screen. And my Fail!Shep was my first run through ME3 so I had to watch Tali kill herself and half of my squad was dead from the start. That'd be my Thane-mancer who dumped him before he gave his life to save a total stranger and then sent her a beautiful declaration of love.It definitely makes the games more dramatic!

Oh wow, talk about a trial by fire!
I hadn't ever played a Bioware game but I had at least spent a lot of my youth playing J-RPGs, but especially Suikoden. if Suikoden taught me anything, it's the everyone is a potential companion! (it had 102 characters to collect. >.<) Still, the romance aspect totally threw me for a loop, so when Alistair dumped me I went pretty much straight to denial (reload).
Mass Effect is at least a little easier to slide into. Still, good on you for being patient enough to do that. XD
Edit: Make sure your guide includes repeatable steps "Talk to Kaidan" and "Swoon" as often as possible.
The completionist run is my second. The first is purely to find out what the hell happens at the end. But I'm a glutton for conversation so I found out about the love interest stuff really, really quickly in DA (my first BioWare game). I also learned to pace the convos a lot more. They run out eventually!I LikeTo Doodle wrote...
