Kaidan is buying your Shepard a gift. What does he buy and why?

Kelly gets a really nice knife. Maybe whatever the future's version of the combate/utility knife is. After all, she grew up rough on the streets and appreciates these things.

Jade gets naughty lingerie (why should be obvious).

Zair gets chocolate and weekend getaway to a quaint little bed and breakfast because she appreciates the quiet moments most.

Aili gets a 6-pack of the best dark stout Earth has to offer and a copy of Sun Tsu's The Art of War because every soldier needs a good copy or three.

First thought was "a ring", but then the Shepard in my head said "1, they're impractical in a fight and would probably get wrecked on all the armored gloves/biotic displays, and 2 he would make it from something, like a piece of the first Normandy, or the Citadel, or something equally meaningful and sentimental".

So, second thought is "dinner at the cafe on the Presidium commons" or "some land on Mindoir/Earth".

Haha, anyways, nice fic! I read it earlier while I was waiting for my horse to have her x-rays done, would've left a review but autocorrect probably would have replaced all my words with double innuendos and no way to edit them.

Anyone else annoyed that they added Kai Leng to the character drop down list? Now instead of just typing "K" to get to Kaidan's name, I have to type "Kaid". That's three extra keystrokes! /lazy/


On the subject of gifts from Kaidan, I'm thinking a pony. A Shetland pony. Seal bay, about 6hh. His name would be Hodor.
Or maybe that's just me talking because I want a pony named Hodor.

On a serious note?  I have no clue what Kaidan would get my Shep... I'm pretty bad at thinking of gift ideas. It would definitely include a romantic dinner, candles, roses, and chocolate. And confetti cake. Maybe a vacation to his beach house? Although, the Sunshine Coast is less than sunny, despite its name.
I like the engagement idea, but I already know how Kaidan and my Shep got engaged  Is it a bad thing if I already have a ring picked out for her?
