BTW, Patrick Weekes tweeted that Kaidan chats with Tali after Platoon/Bomb mission (if you do them when Tali is already in the team I assume), is that true? Did you see it?You get more dialogue with Samantha if you get Garrus killed?
Now if we could just get Liara killed, we'd get more dialog with everyone /sigh

I thought so too! Who the hell is Darner Vosque? I also would've paid for a Zaeed as LI DLC. Anyway, pass along the fics when you're done!txmn1016 wrote...
I also loved Zaeed, and was disapointed that he didn't get more screen time in ME3 (shouldn't he be leading the Blue Suns?).
Anyway, would have paid good money for Zaeed to be an LI. I'm in the
middle of writing fics for Zaeed and Kaidan (separate ones), but right
now Zaeed is winning becuase I can't narrow down my ideas for the Kaidan
fic. So many lovely angles to choose from. Sigh.

How can you do the platoon/bomb with Tali on the ship?
We need a cohesive "best mission list" and what order for Kaidan before the citadel 2. Which missions does he get the best dialogues? I personally loved him on the bomb mission. Not so much to say in the Rachni mission.

For all my lovely fellow Kaidanites, I just wrote a new ficlet. Was inspired by a cross between the 'Next time Wake me' dialog in ME 3 and that lovely pic I posted yesterday.
It is most definitely NSFW so read at your own risk. Also it's been about ten years since I wrote any smut, so again read at your own risk

Do everything up to Tuchunka missions, do rachnai -> tuchunka -> coup -> meet with quarians.. you'll have access to Tali

That's craziness. I take it meeting with the Quarians doesn't count for the timer on the bomb then?

To be fair, I haven't tested all possible combinations, so there could be something else at work.IsaacShep wrote...

For instance, I know that one is supposed to sit next to you, and the other will be standing. When I took Liara and Kaidan, Liara sat and Kaidan stood (they both spoke). When I took James and EDI, EDI sat and James stood (they both spoke). But when I take Garrus and James or Garrus and Kaidan, Garrus is standing and is the only one to speak.
I can't remember if I tried Garrus and Liara or Garrus and EDI (and I guess maybe Garrus and Tali). It could be that only one male gets to speak and one female gets to speak (not that their conversations are purposely separated by gender, but just because that's how they're arranged in the shuttle).
But if this is case, it still seems that Garrus has precedence, so you'd have to take a female or not take Garrus to hear from one of the other guys (I don't know if James or Javik also have precedence over Kaidan). I don't remember if I ever tried James and Kaidan (and I usually don't use James after Kaidan returns).
No, because I don't do any priority missions after the coup (so I never have Tali).IsaacShep wrote...

At least if Tali's not there after the bomb mission, then Kaidan is talking with, you guessed it, Garrus, and you have a brief three-way conversation (Kaidan is talking to Garrus over the comm, and then he talks to you).
One thing I noticed that made me sad was that Ashley has a bunch of lines after she tells you that she's been made a Spectre. You can click on her when she's standing in the hospital room, and she has comments about the Citadel and such. Then when you go to speak to Udina, you can tell him that Ashley told you about becoming a Spectre.
When it's Kaidan, you can't interact with him after the conversation (he just stands there), and when you talk to Udina, you act like Kaidan hadn't told you about it. (I swear, it better not be because they're checking for Ashley's variables, if Kaidan gets different ones.)

it does, but you don't have to do the platoon quest AT ALL it can be done whenever,

The bomb's timer doesn't start until you finish Platoon mission. And as it turns out, you absolutely CAN start the platoon mission after the coup, even as late as Thessia (maybe even later but nobody tested yet). We were all mislead by ME Wiki and other conflicting sources saying that Platoon mission must be done before the Coup but it's not true. You can totally do the Rachni mission to unlock "Tuchanka: Priority" and save the entire Platoon -> Bomb arc for after the coup when you have Kaidan and TaliAshTheBrave wrote...

I reloaded at lunchtime and set up to do Genophage next - already done Rachni and all the available side quests so once I do Genophage and then Citadel, I'll have a Kaidan for the platoon and stuff

The conversation with Udina can't even be triggered until after Kaidan tells you, but still you respond as if you didn't know.
When it's Ashley, you correctly respond that Ashley already informed you that she is being made a Spectre.

He was so very sweet and courteous, and it was clear that he didn't have that rough edge about him when it came to confronting Shepard about Cerberus. Very respectful, but still handled the issue really well.
I didn't think my FemShep could romance him so late in the triology, until she got two emails from the boys...and I decided to take her on the Presidium first...and then he started to talk about how he felt about my FemShep.

I felt...like a dick. For not rejecting him once from ME1. But twice now. >_<
Now I am going to make a Kaidanmanced FemShep. You have a convert!

BTW, are we absolutely sure we have to do either Rachni or Platoon missions to activate Priority: Tuchanka? Like, we can't do just Grissom mission (and let's say 2 N7 missions) to activate it?

Well I kind of went with the since it is on the top deck, between the plating, and all on it's own, that most likely no one could hear what was going on in there unless they were on the landing between the door and the elevator, in which case it's their own danged fault.
