are you sure, when i done it long ago i had to do quite a bit of missions in order for iff to be ready to be installed

Well I kind of went with the since it is on the top deck, between the plating, and all on it's own, that most likely no one could hear what was going on in there unless they were on the landing between the door and the elevator, in which case it's their own danged fault.

Yeah it's one mission, my brother played it yesterday, (i helped) and he only got to do 1 mission

absolutely sure, I just finished a run right before 3 came out, had to go back and redo the IFF because I hadn't done a couple missions before it and got my crew killed because of it.

The bomb's timer doesn't start until you finish Platoon mission. And as it turns out, you absolutely CAN start the platoon mission after the coup, even as late as Thessia (maybe even later but nobody tested yet). We were all mislead by ME Wiki and other conflicting sources saying that Platoon mission must be done before the Coup but it's not true. You can totally do the Rachni mission to unlock "Tuchanka: Priority" and save the entire Platoon -> Bomb arc for after the coup when you have Kaidan and Tali

Really? That is awesome! I always rush to finish those missions before the coup because I assumed the timer would end by then. That is good to know! Would love to have a list with all the variables and timers so I can prioritize how I can bring Kaidan to more missions without failing them.

Also just finished my contribution for the letter! So I just PM it to dstrawberrygirl now right?

Theres only 2 missions with timers, Tuchunka: bomb and grissom academy, however it's impossible to get Kaidan for Grissom.

Nearly finished my ME3 ending fanfic, obviously Shenko. Think I might have made it way too complicated. Kind of make up my own reasoning behind the Reapers and changed the Catalyst thing.

Makes sense to me but I just know its probably gobblykook. I'll post it here if I'm brave enough.

Yes, it will fire only after the rachni or platoon mission. I wish it was just a counter, but it's tied to the completion of those two specific missions.

And it's so hard to save them for Kaidan, because the dialogue with Wrex and Victus (especially Victus, for the rescue and bomb missions) is just so good. It's important to the story for me to do it while they're on the ship, but it's important to MORE KAIDAN to wait until after he's back to do them.

ME3 sucks. Kaidan wouldn't have gotten beat up by an ugly skank robot, and he wouldn't have refused returning to the ship after being made a Spectre.
