I hate reading all the articles about this fisco,  since today I read one that said it was because were upset with the gay relationships in the game. ( I read that one today) I was like wait.... So my gay female Shepard, who will romance Laira is somehow me not wanting the gay relationship in the game? Then I also think I'm going to play through a male runthrough, were I remain single in order to hook up with Steven  Cortze. So I must really hate the game then for inculding the gay option  eventhought I'm playing through the gay romances with a couple of my Shepards<_<.   Altough that is, if I can stand a play through of Mark Meers annoying voice acting so i can at least try and romance Steven Cortze with my male Shepard.

Sorry, but the endings would still be horrible without the gay romances. The endings would be horrible without the straight romances. The endings would be horrible if all the game was was a welter of hermaphroditic robot/human romances.

My point?

The endings are stand alone horrible. Romances had nothing to do with that.

I'm usually really fine with school, but I do not get Econ and it's required for my major and it ruined my grades...now I'm on academic probation because of it (stupid honors college and its required grades). I can't wait to receive a call from my mentor telling me I should go visit him for a talk next semester...


On a bright note, I made a new ME1 character today. I haven't played ME1 since high school lol

Try getting a copy of Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell. It's very accessible, and it might help you with some of those Econ principles. I know it helped me get my Econ class. Yeah, it's extra work, but it was a life saver.

Is it because of the ****ty voice she makes, when she does his romance? I hate the way she sounds too, since I laughed a little bit through out the cuts scene. I kind of wished they gave us a option to shoot him if I romanced him and didn't have anyone that I ROMANCED in the first game... . Or at least. be a little bit angry with him for cheating on me in the game. I was gone for like a couple of months Jacob ,so why couldn't you wait that long again?

I can't get into a male Shepard. After playing as femShep. Shep is just femShep to me.

I had too much fun today. I finally decided to take Javik with me on the Thessia run instead of Kaidan. I hated leaving him behind, but I had all sorts of wicked fun taking turns with Javik telling Liara to "suck it up" for the duration of the mission. It made me feel better when we got back to the Normandy and all had to go to her personal pity party.

But I have one with very dark brown hair and brown eyes, one with lt. brown to dirty blonde hair and grey eyes, one with jet black hair and pale green eyes, and a grey eyed red head. They all also have very different faces. But I can see all of them with that voice.

But I think I've created about two dozen others that just looked wrong to get those four.

I'm quite the opposite, even if i tried make a different looking shepard, i can never seem to picture them with that voice.

Some people say that Hale is better with the paragon route while Meer is better with the renegade route,
Maybe i should resume playing ME1 as femshep, but the glitching... oh screw it getting my disc cleaned then playing reguardless if it still glitches .. (i still giggle at her bouncing and bouncing like shes on red sand )

And it pains me to say that because I used to love my DudeSheps but for ME3, I just can't go back to him now. My first playthrough was with my ultimate paragon Kyle, and at the time I thought it was okay but a little flat in parts... after having played 2.5 FemSheps now, one each fo pure paragon and renegade, I just can't ever go back to DudeShep's bland delivery. Sorry, Mark! Jen just totally brings it in ME3. Especially for the romance and goodbye scenes. DudeShep just sounds kind of bored to me. Or bewildered.

Plus, Kaidan. I just can't romance Kaidan with DudeShep, personally.

Yeah, videos and pics do that to me. Fanfics are different I can imagine my Sheps still, but when I headcanon, my Sheps get called by their names or nicknames where appropriate. Kaidan never calls her "Shep" or "Shepard" in private which is something that always annoys me in the game although I know why it happens even as it breaks my immersion.

No worries - it's all good. ME3 ending notwithstanding, the Mass Effect franchise is all about maximizing the players' enjoyment of playing the Shepard the way that they want. Being male, I've personally never got into playing a FemShep but that's just me. There are plenty of male players out there who exclusively play FemSheps. To each his/her own.

I was reading Raphael Sbarge's tweet about going back into the studio to record more Kaidan voice work and it says: "Just when you thought I would never go back, they keep PULLING me back in"

I'm pretty sure I'm grasping at emergency induction ports, but the emphasis on the word "pulling" makes me wonder if maybe some how he'll end up back on earth "PULLING" Shepard out alive from the rubble... Or that could just be wishful thinking LOL.

I think most of the people I follow on Tumblr, myself included, construed that as a Kaidan reference.  As in a Biotic Pull.

Well, the bigger issue is that Kaidan is dead in my DudeShep game... But the even bigger issue is Tali.

Heh - that would be nice but even though he thought he was done with Kaidan's voice work I'm sure he had to be somewhat ready to head back into the studio when the whole firestorm about the ending started.
 
Once all this blows over it would be interesting to get his take on the ending brouhaha but for now it's just too hot of a subject for him to risk losing future work with EA/BioWare by tweeting his opinions on it.

Well, thank you for saying what I didn't have the guts to say myself  Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, I just know there are a few touchy people around here when someone expresses their feelings for Meer's voicing. But, in his defense, it's almost unfair to compare him to Hale. Isn't this his first video game work? While we all know she's been around the block and then some. 

And Kaidan's a big factor for me, too. I love him too much to play as a BroShep

Just knowing that they're getting the actors back gives me *some* hope for the EC. I had really expected them to just cheap out and do of couple of extra cinematics and a slideshow. Now...now I'm actually daring to think that maybe....maybe.....
