Nice work! I love seeing your updates on this.
And yeah, it's too quiet here. I've been wrangling with fanfic.net - it seems the wysiwyg editor doesn't work on any Mac browser at all. Chrome, Safari and Firefox all gave me jumbled html. I had to boot parallels, cooking my lap, so I could edit in IE9.
If I drink enough wine this evening I may publish a chapter. or two. but I need more wine for definite.

drink wine and i will read your chapters when you update them, i am quite bored right now lols. i have this story cooked up with poses of kaidan, but not sure what to do next, i need a character enemy, that can talk, i can't use husks and i don't want to use Kaileng or Illusive man. i may have to use someone from a different game lols.
the idea i have is Kaidan is badly injured handcuffed to a bed (not sure what they use in mass effect series when they tie people up). he looked at his binded hands and tries to free himself but fails, then some one walks in. I know that later on Shepard comes in rescues him and helps him out.
Not sure what happens between the enemy walking in and shepard saves the day hehe

I have a question: the first time Shepard visits Kaidan, why does he say it is a good think she missed snack time?
I was just wondering..
Hospital food is notoriously bad, even in the future, I guess.
Also The Avengers is notoriously AWESOMEOMFG.
OMGYESITWAS!
I wept for Phil though. Just like I wept for Wash. *snifls*
And when the Hulk came out to play in NYC, the whole theater erupted in cheers. It was so awesome.
*loves Joss Whedon*
Also, I adore me some Chris Hemsworth (and Chris Evans). Mrowrrrrrl!

Edit: meh, what the heck, have it all. Three chapters up... Kaidan's in there in part, if this continues then there may be more in time.

Hulk was honestly the standout for me. I anxiously await the day there is a higher quality gif of my favourite part of the entire movie.

OMG yes, that was awesome--everyone laughed at that one, and:

Wow. Great writing, but this was a trip and a half. I'm not sure if I need more or less rum.

but damn, I'm so happy that it sounds like Whedon's worked his magic. I can't quite imagine Joss Whedon doing anything badly - I would love to give him a giant hug of thanks for his sheer awesomeness.

I'll babysit for you. I'm an AWESOME babysitter! Whenever I'm around kids, we just sit together in awkward silence for hours, avoiding all eye contact or discussion.
I just know I'm going to be a great mother in the future
So, quick question, is it just me or did FemShep shrink between ME2 and ME3?

Well Kaidan Looks a bit short in ME3 as well hehe. But my fem shep in me1 looks young, femshel in me2 looks older. FEMSHEP in me3 looks younger.

Lol, I'd love a sitter, even an insane one. Little guy's 6, so he's just a teeny bit on the young side for most of the current hero films but not for too much longer. Just gotta preview it meself before I show it to him
Shrinking FemShep? possibly - even with the face import fix, my shep doesn't seem to look right. I'm working on one more playthrough of 1-2-3 with her so I can do her with the fixed face, but the preview did not look promising. She looks like a girl, not at 30+ soldier.

OMFG I just went through like 200 pages trying to find this comparison to see if there was any appreciable difference between FemShep's height from game 1-3. I'm not sure if there's an actual height difference but you can totally see a difference in her general stature.
I feel like in ME3 they went with a much more "athletic", shall we say, body type for her -- everything is just a wee bit "perkier", but she herself is incredibly thin and taut. In ME1 she had more natural femininity, although she was still lean. In ME2 she walked and talked like a man. We can just chalk that up as a side effect of the Lazarus Project.
Edit: 5 edits to fix spelling. Moar rum required?

Maybe it's just this blasted migraine distorting my vision or something, but I was watching cutscenes I'd recorded from each of the games. In ME1, she seems tall and slender. In ME2, she seems unfemininely huge and blocky. In ME3, she seems... almost a bit delicate, smaller and leaner.
Just my mindless ponderings with no accurate basis for assumptions.
or maybe its the armour hehe, depends what type of armor you wear in me1, but if you wear light shelooks really thin. (i played through most of the game with the armor you start with as all the others i didn't like and since i couldn't wear heavy as i know there is a heavy version of it. i Just stuck with that same with Kaidan.
In me1, stuck with the first armor as i didn't really like the look of the other armors plus i was recording as well so i didn't want to keep changing armor. In me3 jsut made it to mars and aint touched it since as i know i will be missing Kaidan after mars and jsut want to pick him up. but most probably stick with her original armor

I think I prefer the ME3 body the best, although she might be a little on the skinny side; but hey, she's probably not eating like she should.
And on that note, I think I need to had to bed. And hopefully not dream of super mega duckmouthed anything. See y'all tomorrow some time I'm sure.

Ditto this.
Unless hubby and I decide to go see it solo, so that the other half can watch the kiddo. We won't be seeing Avengers until it's out on disc.

I was lucky for the first time in Ihavenoideahowlongbecausethekidstakeupeverywakingmoment my mom took our 18 month old and we could take the 9 year old with us to watch it. I guess that's our cinema trip for the year, now we just get to wait for dvds.frylock23 wrote...
