Yes I have that issue, I tried to romance both Garrus and Thane on two different play throughs... didn't happen. I now have a male shep run planned, where I plan on romancing Steve... we'll see how that goes when we get there, however, I do not count my odds as high.

i don't have issues, but i have played more then 10 times
played atleast all M!shep romances at least once (not Diana or Ashley because i have no saved data keeping ashley alive)

Me, sort of.I'm weird, I guess. I can't play as BroShep, it ruins the immersion and I love Hale too dang much, so that crosses off Ashley, Miranda, Jack, Tali, and Steve. The idea of romancing aliens isn't a turn-on for me (no, not in that way) so that takes out Liara, Garrus, and Thane. I don't do same sex romances, which eliminates Traynor and Allers. And i just don't like Jacob's character, he tries too hard to remain distant, plus FemShep's voice, and we all know how his story ends.
Which just leaves me with Kaidan. Exactly how I like it
