I'm going to try to send a printed copy out to her too, thanks to everyone who helped and contributed, especially to IsaacShep for helping to drive the project, and Criz-Zone for the little cute Kaidan picture
This looks gorgeous @dstrawberrygirl! Amazing job
A couple of weeks ago someone (I apologize for not remembering who it was) mentioned an article in Wired about Fan Fiction. It showed up on the internet today: www.wired.com/underwire/2012/05/st_thompson_fanfiction/.
It's very good, taking a quite positive outlook on fanfic writers, and while the focus is on kids/teenagers, he recognizes and applauds adults who do so as well several times. It provides much-needed external validation for our wonderful nerd hobby (I say that with both tongue in cheek and a large dose of truth, lol).

It's a myth I keep hearing about from our threadmates. I have yet to experience this personally so I cannot verify the truth of their words.ShallowlLife9871 wrote...
what is this "real life" you speak of Phoenix?

Thanks. It's the first of a series. I thought that my Shepard and the crew of the Normandy deserved a happy ending. On a beach.
And Kaidan needed body hair.
