[Kaidan Fan]

I just wanted to post to thank txmn for linking that devinart comic last night.  Me and my son both enjoyed listening to that comic being voiced by nihilus' VA.  So, thanks.

Problem here is, that it  was one of "unofficial" explainations how and why were they flying away. To get you down. But you blew the relays... (something tells me most of us ended with  "perfect" red)...ad they did not make it, but landed hell knows where....just don't tell me BW reads those multiple threads  to pick up plots for DLC!!!! 

Lol, yeah. I stumbled to the controls, hit the All Reapers Die button and now I'm just lying there with Anderson waiting for someone to pick us up.

I think it sucks that Kaidan does, in fact, have to lose Shepard again.

I think it sucks that WE have to lose Shepard. Again. Together with Kaidan and rest of the crew. Because, I mean, celestial beings and reaper minds are hard to roleplay in fics. Small piece of hope for what remains from Shep after red, but it's sooo easy for them to close this breach in their "unappyend" wall...

  This is so touching, I wish ME3 ended like this.   I just finished my second replay last night with Kaidan as my LI (again), no one else compares.   How dare Joker run off with my man!

Not sure what we were supposed to infer from what we got. I thought that to infer something you need clues to lead you towards a specific inference. We must have all missed what Joker running away inferred......

Don't worry. To say that we had to "infer" stuff based on the existing endings is a very generous way to describe it. We didn't have just to infer, we had to straight out come up with complete concepts and fill total holes in the plot ourselves regarding some of the stuff that happened with nothing to help us "infer". Like what the entire Normandy and teleporting squadmates part, or what the Catalyst is or why is he convinced created will rebel against the creators.

So frankly, I am 100% sure they will be literally adding compeltly new stuff, regardless of what they say. Anything they add to the Normandy nonsense will be something completly new, nothing we could "infer" based on 0 information in the existing ending

Come on, a lot of them. Listen more to news in ME2. Listen to Modrin in ME2. I'd rather hear more about our Surviver while in ME2, really..

i should add "In ME3" because they only get mentioned (which i can remember) is During the Dream's you hear their voices, After the Tuchunka: Bomb mission with the VS, After that mission with tali recruited and out of the war room with the VS (not sure about ashley tho) and after a dream and talking to Liara

Yeah, I agree. I mean, it's nice and all to keep the memory of Ashley alive but I don't need everyone ham-fistedly mentioning it all the time to remember it. Shepard's not going to be all "HAY REMEMBER VIRMIRE HOW SAD" every time she has to blow something up. She's just going to blow it up.

Unless the Catalyst is what remains of the Creators - creators stored in Catalyst form. Here's the problem. We have to make completly blind guesses and rip the game's files for answer. If it wasn't for leaked scripts, we wouldn't even know that the entire thing is actually about technological singularity. They removed the direct naming of it from the final version and replaced it with vague "created will rebel against the creators". I get why Mac Walters said "people don't need to know everything" but in this case, we actually do. It's essential to understand the Reapers, the Catalyst, why are they doing what they're doing and why are they believing in it and make an informed choice based on that. Not blind guesses.

Show us what we Infer?  Lady what we INFER from you ******* endings is not a good thing.  

I pick Destroy (the other two options are a no-go Reaper traps) so from what I see of the ending.  After listening to it explain Control again I know it's a trap.  Star-brat says flat out, "If you think you can control us...."   THINK?!   I just spent two games fighting with TIM over the issue.   

Destroy is the best-of-the-worst, and it's very bad: 


-Relays destroyed:  They seem to explode in a super-nova (sure looks like one in the video)
-"Most technology destroyed" 
-All Synthetic life destroyed (Even Shepard in low EMS) so EDI & Geth must die
-Galactic dark age
-Citadel destroyed - debris will rain onto Earth killing pretty much all life on Earth
-Millions starve in cut off colonies and away from their homes

So all that effort and sacrifice totally saved the Galaxy we loved.  No we destroyed it!   The only Pro, assuming the Relays do explode, is Joker got my Kaidan to another planet.  If they don't explode, then he ran off and left me to die alone.   [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]

That is like ending Star Wars by destroying the Force and lightsabers.

You know... I'm really not sure. I did one play through with Ash but she didn't really seem to have a lot to say about anything.

I think Ash got mentioned enough in ME3, she was in my nightmares, talked about her with Kaidan & Garrus.   There is so much loss and darkness in ME3, especially if you lost squad members in ME2.
