I have always been able to compartmentalize my Shepards. That is probably why I'm one of those people who have no issue reading Shepard specific Shenko fics, because I compartmentalize them, they are different Shepards with different Kaidans.

I do love Garrus and I do have a Garrus-mance, but I don't know if I will ever import it. It' not just because kaidan is so awesome in ME3 either, it's more that... I don't know... spending any amount of time on Tumblr tends to make the alien romances....horrifying.

I have watched the scenes on youtube, and I do think it's really sweet and awesome. it's just.... It's like walking in on your parents having sex, but instead it's your Shepard and a freaky alien and there are body poarts you just don't even understand and they're doing things you're pretty sure they're not intended for... And then you're saddled with that image for the rest of your life.
You still love your parents, sure, but a part of you will always look at your alien dad and go "wtf, man".
I should start charing admission for these Whacky Tours Through Kolo's Brain.

Can't kill him no matter what what...
And all my playthroughs are esentially the same too...my mom is even complaining that my new Shepard looks just like original Shepard with different hair.
I would romance Garrus if I dind't have to break his heart in ME3 to get back to Kaidan....

Lol, it especially pissed me off because Garrus' love scene was literally like 5 seconds long. Whereas Liara's was at least a minute if not longer with blue T&A all over the place. Just a travesty.
