But I don't think they said it's about Shepard...and they can change it. I seriously think they should make it about the story, not the character. Make it about Saren, Reapers, Cerberus...ME universe in general, instead of Commander Shepard. 

And Kolo, I think the only movie based on video games that I "like" is Resident Evil and that's probably because they created a character just for the movie. 


I heard it is about Shepard, but there are no Reapers...or something. I'm not sure.

I wanted it to be about the First Contact War. THAT would have been interesting.

Honestly, the only way I can see fans liking a ME movie is by making it about the universe, not Shepard. Commander Shepard is too personal, and every single player has their own version (renegade, paragon, pretty, ugly, differemt LIs...etc). It's not like making a movie out of a pre-made character...:?

I completely agree with you on that, however, from all appearances that is exactly what they are doing.  I am just really hoping that all this fiasco over the ending will make them rethink the movie idea and it won't happen.

I need to do a couple of complete run throughs, but with my back acting up I'm not wanting to spend that much time at my desk, and while I can play all the games on my laptop, it doesn't particularly like me running fraps at the same time.

Then I'd say Virmire would be a good way to solve any romantic tension between Ashley and Liara lol.

Problem with a triangle with Ashley and Liara is that Ash has no biotics. I like biotic fights, it's like blue glowy cat fights, miaow, POW, warp, throw, BOOM.

Nah, they'll just stick the girls in skintight leather / pvc mock armor and emphasize their assets accordingly. Or something. I hold little hope for the movie. The old Street Fighter Van Damme movie rocked because it was just so bad, so cheesy, I adored it. But Street Fighter never really had a plot, or a story, it was just a case of grabbing a controller and hitting random buttons "hey I got a mega combo!". But ME deserves better treatment. I would love a good femshep movie with Kaidan, but I don't imagine we'll get one :)

With Garrus, Liara, Wrex, and Tali, I'm not sure they could fit both characters in (I could actually also see Wrex and/or Tali getting dropped). Or maybe Kaidan would be some tech who never leaves the ship.

Hopefully the project just stalls and they never end up coming out of preproduction.

so.. i think in a moive, Kaidan has a higher chance of being Vermired...

Yeah I can see this happening. Kind of sad. If the movie ends up being so-so, the absence of Kaidan would turn me off any sequels (if there ever was one).
