I think I MIGHT be ok with a movie if it wasn't Shepard's story and was mostly CGI.  Although, even the thought of Avatar-like Turians/Asari is...<_<

And Ryan Reynolds...hmm...even though I like him a lot, I can't see him as Kaidan. Just...he doesn't fit the type. To me, he's more like an Alistair guy

After watching The Pacific, Jon Seda will always be real life Kaidan to me.

Regarding a movie, why can't they just base a movie on the books, have Anderson as the central character? Might that make people go "Ohh I'm intrigued, I wonder what happened to cause this?" *goes to play games because they never have before*

I seem to recall in the books Shepards gender is never mentioned, there are only brief mentions anyway, I don't think it is anyway...I could be wrong. Still it would still be within game timeframe or close to, could promote the games nicely to people that haven't been there yet...

I agree they should leave Shepard alone, she's ours...if they want to tell the first story, then tell it from a different pov, we're very protective of Shepard they should keep this in mind!

I have all same feelings about film. I think 90% of ME greatness is its "personalization". They did good job to provide your imagination with "do it youself" materials and supported it with in-game non-linear mechanics. Streamlining it into any kind of single "canon" is a really bad idea, from any point. Even our in-game codex is unique (considering Sheps background and origins). I bet "canon" Shep will be earthborn\\warhero...

Though, they will get their sells anyway, imo. Many will go and watch it, even if they dislike it. Just like many went to watch SW 1-3.

And, hey, I think I can name one example of nice videogame-based movie - it's Scilent Hill. It did not include any game characters, but felt pretty much "right". But that's KONAMI, you know...

Another topic buried couple of pages ago - sorry for little necroing, but I just missed the moment. Timezones and etc.. That's about biotic powers for...erh..non-combat purposes. <-) I don't really think that he would ever do anything like that, not especially in ME1 -2 period. He's way too serious and careful about his skills. After doing his first "full biotic kick" - he knows how dangerous he actually is. I doubt he would ever try anything on a living target he loves, and if he does - that won't be "for fun". I suppose, it should be much like taking a gun into bed from his point of view. Even with no amp plugged. I even think his biotics should make him more self-controlled, even when there's no need for it.

 so, playing ME1 get up to virmire : i pick Kaidan to go with the Selarians and Ash to graud the nuke. i Pick Liara and Garrus to team up with  my shep.  i lgo to the squad screen and find THIS  glitch.....

Hi Lily! No I haven't yet but I'm working on it now so fingers crossed it will be up later.

nice nice... I actually got out and had a life this weekend... glad ive not missed anything of import.. as for disturbng stuff.. considering there's frequent talk of kidnapping and crazy family shananigans, disturbing seems to be the norm these days lols

Well, spent the last hour making money on ME1... got 245k credits and only level 14

I'm on a second run with my original FemShep now, and I wish I knew where to spend all those creds and omnigel...considering all the squad already has cool top spectre weapons...I became that lazy, that I do not hack locks anymore, but try to waste my omnigel (which is about 500, I think). I feel like ME1 is where moneysink really needed, not ME2 with all those fish, ships, upgrades but no money at all. And I also maxed every useful skill at my 47, so Kaidan will have to learn first aid, as it's last thing he does not know yet... Very well-educated young LT.. 8P
