Evening all, just popping in to say hi and drop off the next chapter as promised. Can't stay because I'm celebrating mother's day but I'll be back tomorrow!

i've romanced everybody (minus Ashley + diana + femshep relations) ashley just never lived pass virmire and i will not play without a imported save, too many things happen in non-imported saves that i just don't agree with...

I didn't list Thane or Jacob either. I just listed the LI that you get a scene with before the attack on the Cerberus HQ. Jack does indeed deserve a full romance as well. I've romanced most as well, except Diana, Ashley, and Traynor. I think only one of my ME1 playthroughs has Ashley living through Virmire (which I didn't import into ME2).

Garrus romance is so sweet - my Renegon who never romanced anyone in ME1 is with Garrus, and I loved all their interactions. but the romance scene itself is so short! And then she wakes up and Garrus is watching her sleep on top of the covers in her underwear - really really strange.

Ugh, there is a hilarious comic about this that I will eventually find for you.

Question of the day: If Bioware were to re-release ME1-3 in say, X years time, what would you like added, for example Cut content, more LI, etc etc.

For me i'd say

Get Legion & Tali earlier because theres some humourous dialog (Legion on tali's recruitment is by far the funniest)

Tali always seems to be recruited late...

2nd to last on ME1
Between 5th-Last in ME2
2nd to last/Last in ME3

For me i'd say

i'm replaying ME1 too.... but i love the Mako...I hate snipers in ME1, too much.... movement for a single shot...

I'd say - for God's sake leave ME1 alone! Probably add some moarrr letters and\\or VS-related DLC into ME2...and idc waht to do with 3. If only click-autodialogues were replaced with real ones..but that's unlikely, I guess.

ps: I didn't even know it's mom's day today untill I read thread. It is not celebrated where I live, we only have 8th of march here, which is kinda for all fems.

ps: oh and I also replay ME1, just sent husband to bed, got a glass of red dry and loading. So unlikely to return untill tomorrow.

1. Include S/S romance options (Kaidan speficially).
2. Introduce some of the ME2 characters in ME1. I don't require extensive dialogue, but just like running into them or hearing about them in some way.
3. Introduce some of the ME3 characters in ME2. Same as above. Specifically for Cortez, perhaps you could have a mission on Ferris Fields where you encounter him and/or his husband.
4. A smoother transition of the story from one game to the next. Without the Arrival DLC, the beginning of ME3 is a bit confusing IMO.
5. Can't think of any more ATM.

Steve's main romance scenes ain't as big as Liara/Ash/Kaidan's, but he probably has the most ambient romance lines between these scenes from all LIs which makes the huuuuuuge break between date & sex-scene less noticable. In a perfect world, every LI would have main scenes as big as Liara/Ash/Kaidan and as much in-between ambient romance lines as Steve (and apparently Liara too...)

EDIT: And as much other dialogues as Liara... looks like she's that perfect LI <_<

I have to admit, that was one thing that disapointed me about Kaidan's romance.  Apart from the one conversation in the crew quarters, you don't really get any flirting or acknowledgement of the relationship. 

I haven't finished my Liara playthrough so I'm not sure about her.  Garrus had quite a few scenes throughout the course of the game though so I was really suprised at how sparse Kaidan's romance was.

You know...I mean no offence and nothing personal etc. I understand different people like different stuff. But I think that characters should keep their orientation as it is, once they were introduced. What BW did in ME3...well, I don't really feel it is nice of them. And don't tell me there were hiden options for ME1 - I know they were. I consider myself rather tolerant person, everyone does what he likes etc. But this chnge..I took it too personal, may be. I honestly don't like it. They did not even bbother to rewrite scene to make difference between fem\\bro... But retro-change you're talking about is even worse. Hope this one never happens.

ME - Honestly I really can't say much about that one, because I really liked the way the story played out.  Yeah maybe Tali sooner, but really you get her before the meat of the story anyway.

ME2 - An option to work against Cerberus as a Spectre, having to get to the people and resources before Cerberus, etc. (Basically have two storylines, one with Cerberus as currently and a parallel one where you would work as a Spectre to do the same things)  Bring back all the RPG elements.

ME3 - Ditch MP requirement for anything SP, ditch the EMS system or make it freaking actually useful. More actual dialog with squad mates.  Bring back all the RPG elements.  VS recruitable earlier in the game. The ending...

ME 2 & 3 - Make the recruitment done earlier in the game, and spend more time on the storyline and less on the run around fetch and kill quests.

*edit* yeah include the SS options in all three games, including Kaidan.

I know I am a fem Shenko fan, but I see no reason why it had to be cut from the original game just like I have no issue with it being in the third game.  Oh and ditch Liara's bloody plot armor.

A fic along these lines is currently in the planning stages.... i.e. it's waiting for me to finish ME 2 again with Fraps so I can have reference material.
*edit* if you can't tell I REALLY REALLY REALLY hated working for Cerberus.

 Honestly, even if they did released ME again, I don't think they would make changes to the story/plot. They might fix problems with the game (like the EMS for ME3, Mako in ME1, scanning planets in ME2), but nothing that will actually change the story.

I mean, they aren't even willing to change the ending of ME3, let alone the whole series...

I really wanted to see a Shadow Broker file on the VS in ME2. Maybe even a Shadow Broker vid. I mean, you get ones on Anderson, TIM, Bailey, etc.

I respect your opinion and I've seen plenty say the same. I don't entirely understand this sentiment, but I respect it nonetheless.
