My only complaint about the London goodbye (other than Shep dies) is that Shepard comes off a bit distant.  Shep goes for a hug and it's Kaidan and pulls him in for a kill... My Shep would want a last kiss.

I don't think Shepard goes for a hug—I think he straight up aims to walk past Kaidan and just continue on? It really looks to me like he's walking away.

Which does feel a bit odd. Maybe if they had clasped each other's hands during the farewells, but they just sort of stand around and shift on their feet, and then Shepard moves to just leave. You're really just going to walk away, Shepard? Really?

Of course, it also reminds me of one of the most adorable things I've ever seen here. (Of course, this time he ends up with a passionate kiss instead of ice cream.)

Well my video editing i am just up to noveria so almost done. I did feros first then the planet with liara. Then i go to noveria some side missions and then virmire then ilos yay.


all week i havent been sleeping at the proper times. I go sleep during the day and stay up until i get soooo sleepy.

I assume he's not just sitting there, that maybe he does other things in that chair.  Like think of Shepard, or create strategies.  Interpret as you will.

Have to go catch up on 20-odd pages, hope everyone's well.  As an aside, there is way too little Archie/Jiminy in OUAT.  Just throwing that out there.

Save Sovereign.    I tend to save the Council, if only because it's nice to have people in high places be indebted to you.  Shame it doesn't really play out that way.

A bunch of pages back people mentioned the movie (still going through old pages).  A thought: IMO they should Virmire Ashley, for an odd reason.  They can set up an Ash/Liara/Shep love triangle, and have her make the noble sacrifice, which frees Shep for Liara.  Since this is Hollywood, they would want hot alien babe and "dramatic sacrifice", the safe moviemaking formula.  But like a few here, I loathe the idea of a Shepard/ME1-based movie.  It would make too many things "canon" (i.e. official VS, official LI, official Rachni queen decision, and so on), and the game is like a movie in a few ways.

for my playthrough Kaidan told me not to save the council. i have a video of it but i will upload when i finished rendering the rest of the clips

Oh, really? Because however I play it, he always tells me to save the council...maybe it's because I always bring him and Garrus, and Garrus thinks I should save humans, not the council...(last playthrough I killed the council for the first time and now everyone reminds me of that in ME2)

He wasn't one in ME1 - in-game based. Not in release. No matter what was where hidden or what one can do hacking save. If he was shown that way from the start - I wouldn't, probably, even care much. Don't tell me he just was too shy. Though, I may understand that Shep's death and those two years, of which we know nothing, were hard to him, yes, and that's not the worst change person can suffer. Probably, writers followed same logic(which did not include Ash still).

Anyway, I consider any kind of retro-changes (no matter what those involve) on existing chars a bad idea. I think same thing is about to happen in SWToR "this year", I don't think it'll be the reason to unfreez a sub for me.

Ps: yeah I know this subject is..well, specific, and I just want to remind that I mean no offence for
any other poster and player. BW writers - those are in charge.

on my playthrough i bought Garrus and Kaidan with me. Kaidan says to leave the council but garrus says 'is that really what you want Human' i thought that was weird usually he says Shepard But this time he says Human.

Lol really? Hate it? I may have preferred if he was up and about, but I don't despise it.  Chair or not, I wants me some more Shenko dialogue.

The only "final goodbye" with a good amount of tenderness is, guess who, Liara! And that's even if you don't romance her haha. I think all of the farewells could have had a lot more personality (prime example: get rid of the hologram farwells!), especially with the one you romanced. Worse than Kaidan's farewell is Cortez's, but that's a different topic.

Also, loved that pic. It's so cuuuute!

If I may, yell at me if you must because this isn't Kaidan-related, but speaking of the London dialogues. If you saved both the Quarians and Geth, why isn't that Geth Prime there at the same time Tali is? I could so imagine some passive dialogue between the two about tactics and whatnot. But you only get one or the other. . .

I just think everybody is always doing something. They're working or they're socializing.

Even Kaidan can be said to be thinking or fussing when he's sitting on the couch or standing by the window.

But he seems so isolated when he's reclining in that chair. He's not doing anything, and he doesn't need to be lounging there facing the wall.

Maybe if he said he had a headache, but he's just sitting there. "Not right now." Well, fine. I didn't want to talk to you anyway, because you're obviously so busy and can't be interrupted doing your incredibly important busywork. If you're so tired you can't even sit up, then maybe you should just go to bed.

It just bugs me. Bugs me! (And he could totally be lounging on the couch in my quarters, in private, if he just asked. Instead of sitting in that chair looking like a fool.)

Well, you don't get to see any salarians either (unless Wrex and maybe also Wreav are dead).

Hopefully they'll adjust this for the extended cut. It sucks not being able to see the geth at all if you save both (the geth prime doesn't have much of interest to say, though).

I do hope the scenes also get a pass for intimacy. Everything should be delivered with more passion. Instead they all seem to be perpetually one response away from "I should go". (There's no affect or interaction in what should be very emotional conversations.)

 I always loved Kaidan's goodbye and it is to me the only perfect thing that came out of ME3. She was going to walk past Kaidan, yes, and it made sense to me. It was almost like she didn't know what to do, and since there were so any people around, Shepard decided to just go away and cry by herself, but he interrupted her. Thats how I saw it.

Did in 3ds max. i wanted to picture a 'what if kaidan rescued Shepard' ignoring the fact that they all landed on a random planet and left Shepard behind.
