Yes, I know what happens in ME3. I never denied they made him bi in ME3. It does not chgange his orientation in ME1 any bit, though. What released is released, what never happened - never happened.

Great, it's what YOUR Kaidan is that matters to you.  
Kaidan is straight in your ME universe, that's perfectly fine.  He's also gay/bi/whatever in other people's ME universe.   It doesn't matter, it only matters what your-Kaidan is to you. 

In my ME universe, Kaidan is my lover.  You do not exist in MY ME universe, just as I don't in yours.

God, I also love his little gray hairs.  He just looks like an adult now.  Cue the swooning fits

Also, yeah, I wish he had gotten some chest hair.  Especially considering he's got pretty much a constant 4 o'clock shadow.  But I can't deny that he still looks damn good without it.

Yes, must convice him to stop shaving his chest.

Yes.  Yum.  The salt & pepper thing he's got going on at his temples is pretty swoon-worthy.
He does look awfully young in ME1 now whenever I go back to it.

I prefer thinner Kaidan, myself. He was plenty fit without being overdone (mmm, those abs in his BDUs). To me a clean shave or well-trimmed mustache seems more appropriate than stubble. It just looks a little sloppy on such a disciplined soldier. :/

Eh. Who cares. I tend to agree with Kunari. He can be straight in your playthrough--gay--bi--whatever. It's a role playing game so play it however you want to. 

I'm a straight female but I was pretty happy when he turned out to be bi. It made him a more interesting character.

Which finally let me have my LI of choice.  I didn't want anyone else in any of the ME games.  

Kaidan had my Shepard's heart from that first conversation post Eden Prime where you learn about his past.   He was strong yet so vulnerable, I just wanted to hug him and tell him it was here for him.  Like this pic just makes me want to confort him.

 I agree... plus in 2 he did look a little more muscular and what do you expect a guy to do when he looses the love of his life... he threw himself in to work and then the run in on horizon just added fuel to burn through hard training hehe...hence the even more muscles.. though they did over do it a touch and didn't need to shave the chest hair...it went with the stubble:blush:

I headcannon that he can't help his stubble.  He shaves every morning and it grows back in a few hours because he's just so much man.

well i like bulky men like Vega. but anything more and i don't like. (I even liked Chris Redfield hehe). But Kaidan for me looks best in me3, either its the graphics or he has aged very well. It don't matter. he is still my Shep love

LOL, hubby has stubble on the first place he shaves by the time he's done with the last. I miss a smooth shave. It may have affected my opinions. . I do love the greys, though.

I had that this morning, just couldn't find a good team.

i spent half the time running around an rezzy people who get downed..

My infiltrator. my (5) infiltrators, they likey the snipers and shotguns, in this case i was a sniper.

i like to keep my distance and not run around rezzy and solo a wave (okay to be honest it was like 4 cannibels 2 maraders and a banshee on 1 armour bar)..

we failed the wave after

 K so don't hate me, it's not Kaidan related, but i just stumbled across all the gabby & ken dialog that got boinked by bioware when they bugged it to Ashley. It's so awesome and I'm not that much more irritated they broke it.... they better fix it someday, sooner rather than later or not at all.  youtu.be/klmOijhuhxM

I love listening to these discussions and debates - whether Kaidan or Shepard male/female is/isn't /could be any orientation you choose in 1, whether your shep is male or female, whether you are paragon or renegade or - really, let's be honest, that's really just a sliding percentage because every decision branches your shep from others. We make Shepard how we want - and then remake him or her on subsequent playthroughs, their backgrounds and their abilities.

Shep can be one of many people, can have feelings for lots of different characters, and that's the whole point! It's why I love the game, it's bigger than just an end-to-end story. It's also why I started writing after decades of talking about it, it's also why I am so disappointed in the endings, because all that diversity is missing, all those nuances are ignored. Every Shep is different.

Oh and on body type... I'm more a brain than a body person, though if pushed somewhere between 1 and 3 with a bit more hair would do nicely... but it's probably why I also have a lot of affection for Garrus because it's his personality and his voice and his story that I love. The idea of love being more than about physical is really big. Physical stuff is awesome, but it's the head stuff that binds people together. Kaidan's just more perfect because he is best of both worlds

actually it isn't bugged to Ashley, if you have Kaidan it actually bugs (most) extra dialogs in the engineering room
