then it leaves me to disable 2 more devices and solo the entire wave, so wanna know what i did? i finished the objective to get credits and i purposely got myself impaled by a banshee

So the MP isn't universal?   I'm getting a bit better with my Adepts, it's my favorite SP class too.  I wish I could orgaize the power bar though, it's out of order from my SP Adept.

yes, sometimes purposely getting insta-killed by a banshee is needed

I perfer being a Sentinal in SP, i just get Liara stasis ability, max it out and be a sniper... or i'll get kaidan's barrier and be a Tank and make things go BOOM with shotguns (i  you M-11 Wraith)

Appears =/= is. Based on what "appears" in ME1, I say he's a virgin because we only hear him talk about 1 relationship he had which didn't even involve sex. Based on what I see, Garrus & Tali are asexual in ME1. Were you complaining about their "change" too? You've spoken to Kaidan like 5 times in the game, it really ain't enough to say "ohh yeah I totally know everything about him already". And once again, the way ME1 was constructed, it ain't exaclty surprising that he doesn't comment on men. There are no fetish sex sites with Drell DILFS in leather suits being discussed anywhere in the game, no strip clubs with guys he could comment on, no sexy male squadmates joining the crew he could comment on, etc etc.

And it's fine, you can interpret it however you like, I just find it ironic that his comments on Liara/EDI are automatically interpreted as "he has a big boner for them" by many people and presented as irrefutable evidence of his 'straightness' while a comment in which he ackowledges male looks gets immediately disregarded as "ohh he totally didn't mean that". Same goes for "losing a limb" comment that gets disregarded as "it was just a friendly thing", same with his comment in ME1 about being pulpled in two directions in the past any other thing he says that may point to his attraction to males. Everything like that gets disregarded as totally wrong fan interpretation while Asari comments are accepted without a blink as "yeah he's hot for female-looking Asari".

Bioware just decided to cut all of it out so you'd forget you made peace between synthetic and organic life (if you did)  before god/space/kid thing. The Kaidan "goodbye" isn't bad, it's touching, feels heartfelt, and both voice-actors did a great job.   It's just at the last second, the last tender moment with Kaidan and Shepard it turns ackward.  Its He/She is embarrased about their love. Shepard, you fought to get Kaidan back into your life so be proud damn it!

I haven't finished my Cortez LI Shepard yet, but I can imagine it's bad.  There is actually recorded dialog with a Geth on disk but it was cut... maybe they'll add it to EC.

Indeed; I was hoping the person you made a relationship with would be able to come up to your cabin like an improvement to how they did in ME2. And during that last kiss, the camera was angled in such a way that one of the soldiers in the background was basically looking right at Shepard and Kaidan. I thought that was pretty darn awkward. The only private farewell was Liara's. Dammit Liara, stop stealing all the spotlight!!!

As for the whole Kaidan being/not being bi/gay/straight in ME1. Do people commonly forget that ME is a game of choice and that it rellies on the interpretation of the individual playing it? The game designers aren't going to do everything for you. Something has to be left to the imagination.

Ooooh yeah, that royally pisses me off. I get so use to the way I set up power shortcuts in SP only to get screwed in MP. Playing as a Sentinel, I can't tell you how many times I accidently explode my tech armor! Ugh!

Finished my second Shepard over the weekend...   I needed my head-canon.  Thank God for Siduri's thread in my sig.  It provides a little comfort, a little, I don't want to wait "years" to get back to Kaidan...  


I suck at MP anyway so I try to stay on Bronze and train when I MP for my EMS needs.   I'm getting better.

Sent acts a a weaker adept while also have abilities like Overload and Tech armour (max it out and max barrier out too can get a max of 70% damage resistence)

Vanguards are more close combat style, or as other people put it Novaguards.

I'm a mixed player who likes closequarters or stay away from me so i can make your head explode.

but sometimes i just love to spam throw and see the bodies fly & bounce

i rarely make biotic explosions

THATS why I missed out on the Tali/Garrus flirting! I knew about the Gabby/Ken bug but I didn't realize it went for Tali too. I saw their flirt lines on Youtube recently and wondered why I missed it all but the last bit.

I say Gabby and Ken was bugged to Ashely's friendliness status because one of the game testers/developers/bughunters... can onto this thread or another (it's been months ago right before or after the release of ME3) and appologized for them creating the bug that only made it possible to get the romance and a majority of the dialog with Ashley. And that they knew about it before release and may never fix it.

Tali/ Garrus I got although it wasn't overt flirting and could be taken as normal  conversation execpt for maybe one or 2 hints.

- omg... apparently i'm a tardhead.. i just read more of the summary on the youtube bit and if you're comfortable with using Gibbed you can fix the bug.. but i think you can only ever have kaidan or ash, or it'll break ash. Anyone feel like testing it? ( oh and it also quotes the dev who i mentioned above .)  -that's what i get for concentrating more on work @ work:P

I knew about the bug, but thought it was in Kaidan was your LI...  I'll have to save Ashley to see this?!     

I was a bit shocked when Garrus & Tali were kissing, but that explains it, double bug!

UPDATE: KAIDAN FIX to lack-of-banter bug in engineering: Set integers 10330 or 10314 value to 8. Voilà! 
WARNING: Only use this fix if you're running with Kaidan or Ashley didn't join the squad in ME3. If you recruited Ashley this will most likely break conversations with her.
NOTE: You need basic knowledge of Gibbed save editor for ME3 (just google it). 

That's pretty easy with Gibbed editor for PC users.
