My Canon FemShep romances Kaidan and stays faithful.
Non-Canon FemShep is single in ME1 and romances Thane in ME2.

They totally do try to mindrape you. And there is just this air of arrogance becaue *most* think they're hot ****. At first I though Liara was naive and innocent, but she showed a manipulative side in ME2 which makes me think she's always been that way and she faked the innocence in ME1 to try to get into Shep's pants. <_<

well, it's still months till ME3 so they wiggle around most questions, but I understood the answer as treating Kaidan and Ashley like individuals (actually even if you renegaded Kaidan or paragoned Ashley might make a difference, probably small, but still)
I was actually quite happy about the answer
and for the time being they don't answer whether or not Kaidan is an LI for male Shepard ... <_<

No, not at all. It's why I never put my resume in at clothing stores, because I don't really care about clothes that much (I just wear them), so I can't market them effectively. But I will put my resume in at video game shops and bookstores because I know about them and have invested interest in them.

DS is amusing, but sometimes he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Right!? I don't totally blame him, though. Who knows how long he's been EA's Marketing guy for BioWare. That being said, it is not hard to learn everything about Mass Effect and Dragon Age on the internet, without ever playing the games.

He never asks my questions so I am sad.

I did take the answer to Criz's question as being that yes, they are different characters and will be treated differently. I never really found them to be treated as identical, though. Yes, they both have the same role on Horizon, but their dialogue was totally different. I hope that they have different "side" missions, so we can get to know more about them as we are getting to learn more about Shepard.

this is pretty much why I asked the question, we often heard that there are things that needed to be streamlined or cut etc. for various reasons, but ME3 is the conclusion of the trilogy, it's the understatement of the century to say I have high expectations for that game
still I don't want them to be sent into the wrong direction by marketing hype

Well, Mike Gamble said that Ashley and Kaidan are different people with different personalities, so at least Bioware KNOWS this. Let's just hope they're not interchangable in ME3. <_<

For their personal missions, it would be nice if Ashley's had to do with finding her sisters on a colony that's about to be attacked, whereas Kaidan's should be trying to get his dad out of Vancouver before Earth explodes. Similar, but not the same mission! I'd be cheesed if it was like "Oh, I served with [insert squad here] while you were gone, we need to save them!" for both. <_< Say NO to Kashley Willenko!

and I almost felt bad for the Tali fans ... I like her as a character (less as an LI), and part of me is curious about how the quarians look under the masks, but that goes for all quarians, yet part of me would be fine if we'll never know ... or not until they decide to make a game set in the future when the galaxy has recovered from the Reaper invasion and the quarians might have settled on a planet and after time to adapt to it, can live without suits again ...

and it's only been 300 years, there are krogan and asari old enough to remember what quarians looked like before they were exiled from their homeworld ... I like that comment by the matriarch barkeeper ... about the figure going all matriarchal and everyone forgot how quarians look

I feel your pain... I did a single Shep about a month ago so she could romance Thane in ME2, and it practially killed me when I had to tell Kaidan I wasn't interested. 

*cue Chylise throwing herself at the TV, screaming "I didn't mean it Kaidan! I want biotic sexytimes!!!!!!!"
