Truth be told, I was boderline teary eyed during many parts of that episode.

then rumplestilkstin or however you spell his name bought magic into the world then the episode ended and we have to wait a long time to find out what happens next. Thats when i wanted to grab my TV and yell 'what happens next'

maybe...That would be really cool. But um its really because i didn't sleep for 2 days. tried to finish my rendering of mass effect 1, which i ahve done . Now its mass effect 2 turn

dam star wars update...How many updates did i miss like 10, i been out of it for like 2-3 months. When did Mass Effect come out. Thats when i stopped playing, but i did play it ofr like an hour this one time with i joined the KAAS guild

It took me over a month to get the ambition to even load ME1 again after the first playthrough.   I then finished my new Alan Shepard with a Kaidan LI (modded ME1) and just finished London over the weekend.    Haven't decided which Shepard next, I hear it plays different if you do NOT import so I may try that.

And this is why I refuse to play past London.  All my other Shepard will just have to wait until the EC.

Ok finally caught up this morning and welcome new people and recently de-lurkers hehe... i used to be one . I was going to comment on several things, but alas I'm fighting to stay awake...at work..so brain is struggling heh...

Ohand far as D*con.. i'm not sure which of my friends knows of the illusive within walking distance condos, but i shall do research for next year. Aargh! My husband is not so thrilled it's Labor Day weekend.  It's not like we have plans, and it's doubtful we'll make any in the next few months, but he's back pedalling on it.  Then he suggested that he could come with, to which I laughed out loud and flailed my arms while repeating "NO" at a very high volume.  I know the memberships go up like today.  But maybe I'll just back burner it until July and he'll realize I should just go by myself and crash with my brother.

I mean the game as a whole I hear would play darker than my imports.  I save all my squad in ME2 and I guess the default in ME3 assumes some losses.   I wasn't speaking of a romance though I'm going with Steve next Shepard, as I've done two with Kaidan LI, I'd like to see how Steve's works out.

during romance scene when they are sitting on the sofa and you ask what he's thinking about he says something along the lines of
'you were always focused on the work back then'

during the kiss scene i can't remember what he says, may have to replay my 1 file i romanced him in me3 and not the other 2 games. but i think it MAY be 'come back alive' or something

You'd probably also miss out on a lot of side quests or short interactions - my Genesis Shep missed out several pieces involving ME1 side quest outcomes, and the game felt more empty for it. Personally, I hate missing pieces of plot, I'd rather do another completionist run than create a new character. Plus you get the power bonuses on import!

I know the Kaidan scenes are a little different if you romanced him in ME1 (for mShep that means  Modded ME1) than if it's a "new" romance. I have a Shepard with both.

Without the Mass Effect 1 Data… You Will Have:
- The colony on Feros was not saved.
- Shiala (the Asari taken by the Thorian on Feros) was killed
- The Racni Queen on Noveria was killed
- The Council died, and the Destiny Ascension was destroyed.
- Udina is the Councilor
- No DLC events will be transferred over.
- Garrus was recruited
- Wrex was recruited
Without the Mass Effect 2 Data… You Will Have:
- Garrus is alive
- Jack died on the last mission
- Tali was recruited and alive
- Samara was never recruited.
- Thane died on the last mission
- Miranda is alive
- Jacob is alive
- Shepard destroyed the Collector’s Base

Ok Ok Ok... between you and Doodle you talked me into doing another import or maybe even a new run from ME1.   I've never done a full on renegade run --I'm too nice to be that mean.

I'm still sub'd, what server?    I play on Ajunta Pall... well, I did.  I haven't logged into TOR since ME3 launched.   Once I head 50 it got boring.

That is interesting. I find myself agreeing with much of what he says. As much as BioWare tried to make sense of it through Kaidan's dialogue, the fact is you were forced to be a straight male. At least for the femsheps they had some options since the beginning, mostly by circumventing the whole subject by making an entire alien race female. . .

I love Kaidan a lot, but I have to say the Cortez romance seems more balanced and real because the two of them can just come right out and say what they feel. Kaidan and Manshep can't do this until much later. Combined the fact that this happens late game and with the ending how it is, the romance is quite unrewarding after Manshep waited so long to get his hands on Kaidan.

Kaidan was supposed to keep an eye on Miranda. But that was before he was left with an empathic link to the crew. Now he and Miranda have the same goal: discover what the Crucible did to them.

Not really shippy, but I wouldn't be averse to the reading.
