Edit: I'd personally go with Adept/Vanguard because without Biotics, Kaidan isn't... Kaidan.

Well after seeing him in the lounge playing with poker, and down in the engineering room, I suspect that's kind of what he does. I think he probably follows up with the nameless marines on the ship, picking up some of the slack with what he used to do as Staff Lieutenant on the SR-1. When he's got some personal time when he's not with Shep, then he's kicking back with Vega and Garrus and playing poker and drinking and being bros, or geeking out with Tali and EDI over tech stuff. I actually think he probably spent a lot of time trying to get to know EDI and understand her situation. He seems like he'd try to understand the unshackled AI before condemning it. Although he'd prolly be down with EDI.I LikeTo Doodle wrote..
On-topic, what do you think Kaidan does in he's spare time between missions (when i mean that i don't mean spending that time doing make-out sessions with shepard.)
Yeah, I thought it would be really cool to get his oppinion on Grisson Academy. After what he went through with Vyrnnus, I think he'd have a lot to say about how biotic education has changed from his first experience with Jump Zero. I sort of can't believe they didn't set that mission up for him, but I guess it would've been meaningless for Ashley sooo....Satanicponies wrote...
I was disappointed that I couldn't take Kaidan to the academy. It would be such a great mission for him, with the whole biotic camp crap he had to deal with as a kid, it was a missed opportunity imo
Yes!! A lot of Kaidan's identity is tied to his being one of the first human biotics.I LikeTo Doodle wrote...

I can't imagine him without biotics. That's a big part of his character.I LikeTo Doodle wrote...
On-Topic. If Kaidan wasn't a Biotic/Tech based, would you picture him as a Infiltrator or a Vanguard (replaced one with soldier) or would you picture him Full biotics/Tech

I totally agree. When it comes to Ashley, they could have possibly done a mission where you might encounter one of her sisters? It wouldn't need Ashely per se, but she would have unique dialogue on such a mission same for Kaidan having possible unique dialogue on Grissom.leborum wrote...

the comic wasn't mine, that was posted on Tumblr
You're talking about Isaac's link to Alisha Torn's comic, right? If you are then I'm right there with ya.Kunari801 wrote...
Oh, I thought that was your Tumblr page. Thanks for posting the link then, it's now my Head-canon for me. I hate the thought of my crew & Kaidan stuck on some unknown jungle planet.

Yeah, that's true. I'm not sure how it works, though. If you bring Garrus on the bomb mission on Tuchanka he supercedes anyone else's dialogue, and I think Liara does it on the Ardat-Yakshi mission. Likewise, Tali takes dialogue priority on the Rannoch mission to save Koris. Those are alittle move obvious because they're tied to the locations. On missions like Grissom Academy or the Cerberus scientists I have not idea how they decide.Momiji.mii wrote...
Since I'm on the topic of getting as much dialogue from Kaidan as possible, I've noticed that the squadmates seem to have some kind of priority when it comes to commenting on a specific mission. Is there some kind of list somewhere of who to bring and not to bring with me beside Kaidan, in order to get the maximum amount of dialogue from him?

It sucks that Liara totally pwns Eden Prime, particularly considering she can't understand the Prothean messages that despite rummaging around in your head in ME1 and she turns out to be pretty much wrong about everything.
I saved that mission until I got Kaidan back because I wanted some nostalgia from him but instead I got, "Ooooh, look at me, I'm the Prothean expert!" I would far rather have brought Garrus so Kaidan and I could tell him about the first Reaper we ever saw.

I would love it if they did character-based DLC for everyone. It's an expansion option that BioWare could use to milk money from people for ages plus we'd get more content for our favorites. I suppose they're a little more concerned with seeing how the EC goes rught now, though.

You know, I totally didn't have and issue with Liara until ME3. I thought LotSB was awesome and I was even kindof looking forward to seeing her be a super badass Shadow Broker. Unfortunately she's the worst Shadow Broker ever (I mean, Diana Allers is the only person who doesn't know that it's Liara - and what does that say about her reporting skills?), and she inserts herself into every mission. It just feels forced to me. The only mission you're required to bring Kaidan on is Mars, with Liara it's Mars, Eden Prime (why? couldn't she have just jumped up and down once Javik was back on the Normandy?) and Thessia.
Of course I took Kaidan on every mission I possibly could. So I will gladly throw my money at BioWare for a chance to have more Kaidan content.

...I did the Rachni without Kaidan this time through - first time through I left it for when he was with me and he did not have much to say. So I did Rachni, every single side questy thing before Tuchanka, then I did the genophage cure, then citadel, then I had Kaidan with me for the platoon and bomb missions. Take him with anyone non-Garrus and you get some great Kaidan lines. But if you have Garrus, Kaidan is much more silent....
