with regards to the extended cut DLC... isnt it getting close to summer for you kids in the northern hemisphere? I wonder if they will bring out the DLC next month... I kind of want them too but after replaying a game and actually finishing it for the second time... Im quite scared about it lol

I pray they got the VA's in because Shepard gets to reunite with the team... well those that got the breathing scene that is

@ Nimrel.. I have this vision in my head now of Shepard raging at her weed infested flowerbeds and getting her gun out and shooting at the mutated dandelions whilst Kaidan looks on lovingly from their front porch..

I'm not so sure the Alliance and the Council would have much of a choice. After everything Shepard's been through, I wouldn't be surprised if she/he's got some serious emotional/physical issues to deal with. Shepard was already having nightmares and showing clear signs of extreme stress. Plus, we all know how Shepard fared falling from space onto Alchera. If we just go with the basic "Shep fell from the citadel to Earth" option, there's bound to be a lot of physical therapy to go through too.


I could see my Shepard fighting to stay in active duty, but because of all she's gonna have to work through, I'm pretty sure Kaidan will eventually convince her to resign. They'll have to let her go.

Kaidan on the other hand, seems as though he'd want to stay in active duty. I don't remember him mentioning anything one way or the other but I could see him wanting to stay active. And since the Alliance can't hold on to Shepard, they're definitely not going to let him go.

I could totally see them taking on a council role, maybe to further the cause of the human colonies?
I couldnt imagine anyone in the alliance expecting anyone from the Normandy to do active service again but I also couldnt imagine any of them not having some sort of hand in galactic relations somehow

But there are some young ladies that are putting together a project to be sent to BioWare to show our--love, lust (whatever you want to call it) of Kaidan Alenko. They are going to be all of our personal Shepards put together in a binder with some great inserts and what has turned into an awesome cover. If you're not sure how to get your Shepard because you play on Xbox or PS, you can provide your codes to these two ladies and they will provide your Shepard for you. So it makes this very easy to participate in. Also yes, we are people that are not fans of the ending, but there is no malice or anything behind this. It's just people who want as much Kaidan as we can get, and I think if you're in this thread, you can appreciate that. You have until 5/27 to provide your codes or your Shep. Ok, I imagine that Kaidan is a big breakfast eater: country fried steak, eggs, gravy, coffee.  Yep.  Sounds good.  

My Shepard and her Kaidan are retiring on the beach with Garrus and living off the profits of the vids.  She is so done taking care of everyone for a bit.  She is taking some much needed "her" time. She has a bar in Rio to visit with Jacob and drinks are owed to her by Kasumi.  She is going to collect.

In regards to the EC...I want my crew to drag my still breathing body out of the rubble.  Don't know if that is a realistic want...but it is what I do want.  As far as expecting...I have no idea what to expect from BioWare anymore.  Just have to wait and see.

She/he'd would be invaluable as a negotiator. I guess it would depend on your Shepard's mental state.

I think Kaidan would be pretty good in a politcal role. I think he'd rather be in an active military role though. I could see him staying on with biotics division easily.

In fact my main Shepard is a Vanguard  .  I imagine her and Kaidan have quiet breakfasts since they are both so busy shoveling the food in

I agree with you.  I hate even more the thought that my crew and LI ran away and are stranded on some strange planet.   I guess we were supposed to be glad they weren't on a devastated Earth but I just couldn't... I tried but I couldn't.  There was too much destruction of the ME Universe at the end: Citadel, Relays, etc to then top it off with the Normandy crash too?!   

IF ME3 had ended as the slides I posted showed I would have been OK with it.  I was prepared for a bittersweet ending where Shepard dies to save the universe and the those she/he loved.   We did not get that!   We got one where Shepard dies and so does almost everything he cared for as well, leaving his loved ones in ruins with seemingly little hope.   

For the EC?   NO, we've all been too hurt for that to be enough now.  Sure I want the "sad" endings fixed just as much as I want an ending where Shepard and LI can reunite and live. 

So don't get me wrong, as I told Kaidan in London, I'm going to fight like hell to be able to return to him.  I just can't let my heart get set on the EC, the wound is still too new.

I have tried sending codes but no clue if they got there or not - I couldn't find a way to message people on the site so I found an email address on the first page of the postings and used that...

I'll have to give them my custom Shepard's face code then, I usually use default but spent time this weekending making one I liked.

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel.   I'd say cautiously optimistic.  I can tell BioWare wants to make the fans happy so that's a good thing.  But the ending we have now are just terrible.  Since they officially aren't changing anything, I'm not sure how much of what I'm hoping for will come out of "clarification."  I just really need  the happy ending to be an option.  Someone else's Shepard can stoically sacrifice herself in a grand gesture to save the galaxy.  I want mine to wake up and have the opportunity to shoot up her garden years later.

@Tiberis - How have I not seen that Blasto pic before?  That's hilarious.

For one, we got in trouble to posting too much.  

You can see in both mediums that some was the artist working through the emotional void of the stock endings to create a catharsis.  I'm guessing some people who have wrote FanFic and created artwork have moved on now.  Others are probably waiting on the EC.
I have problems drawing a straight light so artwork is out for me, but I could maybe wrote a little fanfic but I've never done anything like it before so most likely stuck.
